And I had almost the same discussion with someone yesterday that how even after watching PKDH for an year, I never really noticed him 😆

Totally agree on ur points in regards to Nakuul. Didn't watch his first serial, but this won I love him in it.

And for Surbhi, my exact words in first episode were, 'is she the lead opposite him? His sister is more pretty and suitable for the role...koi bhi lead ban jata hai aajkal'...and now my thoughts are that no one can play Anika better than SJ...one episode without Anika and the show feels boring...Ishqbaaz is Shivika and Shvika are Ishqbaaz for me ❤️

@TM Welcome to Nakuul hysteria. After watching last couple epis and the new shades of Shivaay, I'm starting to get obsessed with him. 😳 Lord help me. 🤪

I have never watched Nakuul previously, didn't watch PKDH. I only decided to give IB a try cuz it's a Gul show and her shows are enjoyable at least for first 6 months. 😆 Never thought I'd fall for Shivaay and Annika to this extent when I started watching.

And so true Neha, one episode without Shivika and the show seems incomplete. Just love em' both! ❤️

PKDH has started a couple of months ago where I live, and I felt like watching a 20 year old boy know nothing about acting on TV.

A year later and watching SSO. Nakuul Mehta is probably one of my all-time favorite, perhaps because he's enacting someone who's SO different from him with such ease. It's incredible, and I can call myself a fan, which I rarely do of people on screen in general. He's amazing, especially in the subtle scenes. The range of expressions that he brings about in a confused or angry SSO is quite impeccable. I'm just so glad he also insisted on keeping that beard. Stern SSO without the sexy beard would look so ridiculous in my honest opinion.

Haven't watched Surbhi before, so I can't comment on her previous performances. Felt the character was a bit annoying initially but I love her now. I've felt the same way about all of GK's heroines to be honest, so I'm not surprised. It's kind of a 4Lions trait to make their female leads loud and OTT. I adore watching them now. Anika's hilarious, I actually had to pause my LT screen a couple of time because I was literally laughing out loud. The way she delivers some of those punch lines. Pure, honest gold. I'm sold.

I think as the show has gone on that he has gotten a lot more comfortable with his character and has really been doing an excellent job. I didn't think very much of him be4 but he has been extremely good and enduring onscreen and I have loved his performance a lot. although he still aint my fav Oberoi lol.

but I have to say another factor that has made a huge difference to me liking him more is he is looking extremely handsome now and much better than how he looked at the beginning of the show who he looked kind of sick.

I just wish they would sort his clothes out I hate what he wears when he aint wearing black
