2012 - PKDH begins- Oh! New Rajashri serial ! Looks good, who is the lead pair ? Some new guy Nakul Mehta,looks too young, almost boyish in front of that heroine ! Blue eyes and so fair- who the hell is interested in that! After all, Blue eyes and fair look doesn't necessarily mean success like Hrithik. Vaise acting acchhi karta hain but Nothing mind blowing.

(Too much into Barun mania then)

Lost interest in PKDH in 2013. Left watching it. Nakul Mehta faded from memory.

2015 - India's got talent - not interested

2016 - I don't watch TV - wasn't even aware that such a thing existed.

July 2016 - Watched Ishqbaaz promo during Tamanna.

First thought - Ok new show, thoda filmy lag raha hain. who is in it ? OMG Anuj from SSEL ! Wow great break for him. And who else ? Oh that blue eyed guy. He got another show ? Well he still exists haan ! Oh is this a Gul Khan show? that means Great start, catch and fall romance, OTT heroine, thousands of bloopers and show butchered towards the end.

First episode : Isn't Nakul Mehta trying too hard to look like a filthy rich guy ? And who chose this girl as FL ? So ordinary and frankly not at all a good choice. Waise bhi anyone in front of this hero will look older ! Dadhi badhakar mature dikhane ki koshish hain !

Hey but the show looks good ! Leenesh is total surprise package ! Great acting and even this Kunal is so good. Bromance scenes are quite good !

Windscreen smashing, Gober throwing, water splashing - Surbhi! Is she the same girl I saw on first day ! I am sorta liking her now.

Let me go to IF to check out the scene there.

First post to come across - 'Nakul's acting sucks' - What ? Really ? Meri kya soch hain yahan? Is he good or bad? Was always indifferent to him But he is not a bad actor for sure. Have seen him quite effective in emotional scenes in PKDH. May be here the character doesn't suit his nice guy face?? Or does he put too much stress on stylish mannerism sometimes. But that walk of his, damn good !

First Pool scene precap- Man handling criticism ...ya ya so true, Just hate these cliched scenes ! Wish they come up with something new.

Actual telecast day of the episode - "Maafi maango " hi hi hi this dialogue-too funny but wait What did I just see ! Awesome Chemistry and that raw anger in those sexy blue eyes ! And is that Surbhi ? so stunning !

Damn ! Mission accomplished ! Hooked to Shivika !

Shivaay to Om "Sab kuch allowed hain, bas mujh se door jaana allowed nahi hain" ...Awww...wait a minute! Nakkul your voice touched my heart !

Everything after that ! Dizzy dizzy

Rudra's Piya piya scene, Wow nakkul's expression in those scenes and Surbhi so freaking good. damn just loving this jodi. So slowly you entered in my heart. Have I started to look for only you in the group scenes ?

Every night : Can't wait for the show to begin. and please let there be Shivika only.

Fall scene- OMG not another of those scenes. But damn it! Look at those awkward expressions of his. Just too good !

Nakul's expression change in seconds. Was he always this good or has he grown as an actor ??? and to think I was liking those actors who had stock of 3 expressions ! Mujhe maaf kar do for never looking at you properly ! Absolutely brilliant expressions

He says 'Main apni kanji aankho se kuch bhi dekhoo, right' - Sudden realization- Oh ya so right, your blue eyes are heaven ! Feel like melting in them.

Time to Google and WIKI Nakkul Mehta ! OMG did he always look so good without that beard and what a lovely wife he has ! How come I never noticed him before ? Wow he knows dancing, waltz too ! Will Shivaay ever dance?

Gul literally saved his career, I always considered him so meh before - the only time I saw him was when that one show he was on on Star Plus used to be on in the background - even then the only thing noticeable about him was his eyes.

The first time I saw Ishqbaaz was randomly, on TV during that scene where Anika appears in his room in that box and for a second I thought it was the same show I used to see him in before, but this time something stuck out about his acting.

He has definitely grown as an actor and I'm glad he's getting his due.

I saw some glimpses of his haal e dil and thought he's too childish and the heroin is so older then him. how he find her attractive?

Then I don't know where he lost as I never watched his PKDH nor ever peep in those days on star plus

In this June I was searching channels and found IB promo and i was like ik aur show aa gya star plus pe khamkha mein hi ase promo bnate hain jese pta nahi Kia cheez hain then again I totally forgot about it
Then on 26th of July I and my cousins were watching dance plus 2 on hotstar and I unconsciously said my sister to play that 3 bhaion wala show jo naya aya hai star plus par I wanna see how they make entry in the show so just show me the first episode

Phr Kia bhai ...there we play the first episode and here we fall for the show and sticked to the laptop for continuously 3 days to complete the episodes

In beginning , I loved omkara because his avatar is different I ever see in Indian telly but slowly slowly I start admiring nakul too

His acting skill are really awsm and the gas leak scene , man I watched that secne numerously and died thousand deaths on his expressions
Just loved the whole show and nakul , surbhi , kunal , leenesh , vrushika
All the actors are damn brilliant

Well I watch pyaar ka dard hai but was not a fan of nakul or the Jodi becouse the girl in pyaar ka dard looked way too older then nakul...I always thought that nakul is a so so actor but trust me in IB with his great acting talent he made me said that nakul is brilliant actor also he looks so hot in the show chemistry with surbhi awesome...I can't believe that nakul pairing with surbhi will be so hot romantic and intense as in his first show the chemistry between the leads was a big disappointment.

As in pyaar ka dard he played a very young boyish character full of life i never imagain him playing very mature ruthless business man's character that too with perfection. Like people says never judge a book by its cover...shivaay is growing so much in me shivika is growing so much in me..they have the hottest chamistry.

Great post. Well said. You have made me come out and write here in the forum. I have been itching to make a post on Nakul... and you said it all.👏

The last few days, I could not get over watching his expressions flit in a second from concern to anger to a smile to... every little expression that crosses his face is a revelation.

It is good to see him come into his own in this show. Never watched him before. Kunal..omg..what do i say about him...awesome and the way he teases Shivaay is just too good.

hats off to the Bromance. Loving this... utterly. 😆
