i dont understand why we all need to 'relate' to ishaana or why ishaana needs to be good and justified in her behaviour or even need to change her world views and become like anika. we already have 2 anikas on the show, one is anika herself and the other is soumya who so far is just anika with the poverty replaced by fat people problems. we dont need a third. and as for Om deserving 'better' cos he is 'good'- if the writers wanted to show that then they wouldve paired om with annika. but they didnt. its a multicast show and its not important that you find all characters likeable or interesting or relatable. just because one thinks annika is great doesnt mean it is necessary to rip on ishaana for not being as good as annika. and i would hope that none of us can relate to her cos that would mean- a) you are a con artist or b) you have a terrible gambling drunk as a parent and have to play the adult or c) you have goons standing at your door step waiting to sell you and your sister into the luxury life of prostitution. i wouldnt wish that on anyone. and i certainly cant relate to ishaana but that doesnt mean that i dont enjoy her. i like that with her its not a matter of right or wrong, it is what is it and how it is. i dont find the need to make excuses for her actions, there is no need. shes not a villain like svetlana and neither is she a heroine like anika. shes not a normal girl with flaws, shes definitely not a 'good' person and thats fine cos Om is 'good' enough for the both of them. the idea of her having to deserve Om or be good enough for Om is super outdated. if each one of us fell exclusively for people who deserved our love or was good enough, then all love stories would be perfect- which they are not. love is a pretty random situation and many times rather illogical and it makes you more accepting as a person. and as for ishaana's come back in the precap, then i dont know about you but this was the first time i did relate to her a bit. i dont care if my dad is hitler reincarnate but if anyone takes a shot at him to my face, no matter the circumstance, i would be livid- i would rip them apart. parents are off limits to everyone. and thats something everyone should know and understand. my dad may be a drunkard and a petty thief but that doesnt mean i will ever abandon him. i'll do what i need to for him. thats just it. i dont need to have a moral high ground to defend my father against any offense. so yes her dad is a con and her parvarish is not that great in the usual sense, but that doesnt mean that she will just stand there and listen to Om bullshit her family. that goes against the very grain of human nature. morality is not even a question here. om's mother is a drunkard but whenever someone mentions that he bristles like an inflamed wound. its the truth, but doesnt mean people are allowed to just say it and get away with it. lash out is natural. same with ishaana. i dont think Om needs to find out about her majboori and not judge her- judge her all you want thats your prerogative but dont expect no retaliation if you bring in the parents. thats that. this is not really a moral question or a debatable topic- should you listen to someone talk shit about your parents even if everything they said were true...uhhh the answer is an affirmative no.

Finally!
Thank you for your logic and mature understanding.
You are absolutely correct! We don't need to relate to Ishaana, and I love that she is flawed.
And the issue of family is completely untouchable! No matter how much I disagree with my family, if anyone dared to speak ill of my family, I would rip them apart.
Go Ishaana! Don't let another man bully you into submission!

Agree with u dear.
Everyone is judging before watching the scene.
Ish knows her dad is wrong but that doesnt mean she will listen anypeople badmouthing about her dad even though what they r saying is right. Anybody will go and defend his or her family.
I dont know why people think she should be rightious and go against her father. In real how many children oppose their parents doing wrong on moral basis. If a father earn livelihood wrong way most children dont go against their father and punish them.

I read this as a comment of yours on that post! You are so damn right and this is what I want people to understand. They always expect a sanskaari typical Indian women when it comes to daily soaps and why the hell so.. even I don't understand.
Ishaana doesn't have to be perfect yar.. nobody's is perfect.. just get out of your typical daily soap land and face the reality. Their are many problems and majbooriyan because of which people opt wrong ways but that always doesn't mean that they are bad at heart.

Ishaana having a drunkard dad that too bankrupt, a little sister to take care whose life is in danger and offcource those goons always standing at her doorstep.. so if she's a con girl, then what's the problem? How come she become 'Not good enough' for Om when there is nothing like 'good enough or not good enough' in love.

It's Gonna be so damn interesting to watch their love story when Ishaana will try to understand Om and his insecurities and Om to learn that there are many things above truth that need to be seen.

Nobody is flawless and there is nothing different with Ishaana. Though CVs have messed up her character a bit but I love her and is looking forward to IshKaara. 😳

Superb post dear...👏
Even i too dont noe y ppl r comparing her nd Anika...i like Ishaana. Ishaana is nyc in her own way..she just helpless under certain circumstances. She is unwillingly doing it to save her dear sis from those bloody goons. Her father is a drunkard nd is not doing anything to save his daughters from these goons instead making Ishaana a con gir. Ishaana just wants to see her family safe. She told Om that "we hurt ppl unwillingly to make our loved one's happy. Whether right or wrong." This is something she is doing. Whether right or wrong she just wants her dad nd Mona to be safe.
Anika is diff nd is a hard working girl. Who earns everything through right means. I love Anika's character. Nd i like Ishaana too. Let her be whatever she is. Om is someone who cant stand lies. So they r pairing someone who's life is depended on those lies she tells to ppl nd gets her money. Om will the one who will support nd protect her. Nd so will she. They r a gud pair...
Iam happy that they brought out the truth of Ishaana. Lets see what the CV's have in store for us.
No offence guyz. Srry if ive hurt anyone's feelings. Peace.😊

You go girl! Said everything I have been wanting to say.
The most judged character on this forum is Ishana. Whatever she does, somehow ends up irritating someone or the other. I'm not saying people are not entitled to their opinions but its gets a little annoying when everyone starts jumping the gun.

It was a tit for tat that they did in the precap. He spoke, she retaliated! People end up saying a lot of things in the heat of the moment, that otherwise they wouldn't have. And expecting Ishana to think a lot before saying something is expecting too much right now because as we all have seen, thats just not her character. She says a lot of things without thinking like how she blurted out about Om-Ridhima's break up on the phone, so that's how she is. Deal with it!
And totally with you that we already have an Anika, why do we need another one in the same show?
People have problems even when she does her happy dance. Come on yaara! Don't we all have our happy dance that we do when some really great news comes along our way? At least I do. I love doing that crazy baraat dance whenever something great happens and don't even ask me how I am at actual baraats lol.
I hope people give her a break!

I slightly agree with you. First of all Ishana should not be compared with Anika. Both are different. Both have their own path. We never know what Anika would have chose if she were in Ishana's place or vice versa.

But the thing is Ishana is not 'appreciated" or 'connected' is totally C.Vs fault. Her characterization was good to the point that her father forced (emotionally) to con Om. After that "con artist with golden heart' is not logical. Exposing Ridhima (where she herself is a liar), trying to breakup Om-Ridhima etc was too much to handle. To con Om, it was not mandatory to be his GF or introduce Mala/Bela. There were other ways. If her truth would not have been exposed at this moment this track would have became too nasty.

Ishana herself said many times that Om is a gem of person or a rarely found type. Anyone with "even slightest golden heart" would not chose to break him where he blindly trusted her, even over his GF.

And why Omkara Oberoi?? They can easily (!!) collect quick money buy conning others like how the conned OmRu with that car. Then why breaking a relation, make a new one, then con him? Would it not have taken longer time? Wasn't it easier to Con others and take money?

Other than this, I like Ishana. Her craziness, one liners, love towards family etc.

This exposure was a long due. Now, their track can be started logically. Now, we can totally enjoy their pair.

From the first episode we knew Om will have someone who is a liar, we fans already accepted the fact Om;s girl will be not as good as him, we even accepted Svetlana with him as SvetKara, we were ready to accept any other grey shaded girl. So, Ishana being con artist is not problem but her characterization or the way the track was going was the problem.

Agree with you on about having a different heroine than the already existing one. I can also understand why Ishana retaliated the way she did.
The part I disagree is defending my blood when they are visibly wrong. That is something I would not do. Yeah I would strive to correct them and give them a better life. But if they have hurt other people as a result of their faulty character , then no I would not defend them. That's a matter of justice for me. You hurt somebody whether it be conning or something petty than that , you deserve the punishment that comes your way.

Exactly.
Annika and Ishaana should not be compared on any level, because they do not have anything common between through which they can be compared. Annika's brother Sahil's life is not in danger like Ishaana's sister Mona's is. Annika's parents are no more, real and adopted both, but she is following their morals. Likewise Ishaana is following her father's teachings. Ishaana knows what she'sdoing is wrong, but she has no time to turn good and earn in a right manner.
And it was Om who first said anything about parvarish, indirectly taking a jab on her family. So it was very normal for her to fight back. Just like Shivaay and Annika, Ishaana too can do anything for her family.

ty for slightly agreeing with me but its not really true that shes not appreciated by anyone considering she has her own fan base, im guessing you meant you dont connect with her. frankly i dont either and i think thats fine. i dont connect with most antihero ish characters on the show so thats fine. as for why hurt Om and break up him and ridhs cos that was her plan and neither of them really matter to her. she felt bad conning a good person in the same way i felt bad killing a lobster for dinner last night. thats normal and indeed to be expected that she'd feel some kind of remorse but thats not going to override her plan. and im quite amoral with a lot of issues and i just dont think breaking up ridhs and om was that big of a deal. it happens in most stories. the hero falls for the heroine and then ditches the girl who was with him before this girl came into his life. she the doesnt 'mean' to take hero away from the girl in his life- fiance, bachpan ka dost who loves him, girl friend, lover etc etc- it just happens. it'll happen with tia, romi and ridhima is therefore nothing special. the story usually goes- shes innocent and great and he just falls for her and leaves his home girl cos shes suddenly too flawed in comparison with the new sati savitri in his life. its all circumstantial. i personally think its all bs and hiding a rather crude truth under the pretext of love and goodness- which is, the hero is going to have to break up with the girlfriend to be with the heroine. thats just it. so i dont particularly care if ridhs and om break up. and honestly he didnt seem that upset either. for such an emotional person like omkara id have expected some heart and art work to make me feel like riddhima mattered to him beyond a friendship, which i never got, so wasnt honestly that involved in the break up. infact i find it quite intriguing that ishaana comes into it without any pretense and danke k chot pe goes for it. and ofcourse she couldve gone for many other targets than omkara but considering that it is their story that would be a bit of a moot point if she went for someone else no?

interesting thought- SvetKara, but i do find father and son sleeping with the same woman a tad bit distasteful- too bold and the beautiful for me. 😆

but yes the mala bela track was terrible and ishaana is rather terrible at her job. that i think we can all agree. she focused on too many characters rather than staying focused on om alone. the intro of mala was silly. bela was fine. ⭐️
