Shivaay looked at Anika through the rear view mirror as they made their way to the Oberoi mansion. She had refused to sit next to him, not that she said anything but when they got to the car, she sat in the back seat with Rudra. He didn't say anything and got in the driver's seat with Om by his side. Actually Om was going to sit at the back as well but when he told him he wasn't a driver and he complied and settled next to Shivaay though his attention was mostly at the back. Anika refused to make eye contact or talk to him after what happened 2 days ago in the hospital.
2 days ago
"I have only one question Anika" he had asked
"What"
"Is this my baby?" he remember her gasping in shock and outrage at his question though he didn't find anything wrong with it. He wanted to know if the child was his. Simple.
-SLAP-
"W*F... How dare..." Shivaay hollered, anger and frustration in his voice.
"Not a single word Mr Shivaay Singh Oberoi. If this slap didn't answer your cheap question I don't know what will. I actually thought you couldn't go any more lower but again you proved me wrong. Here I was thinking I was wrong for leaving you and the family, that I can't and shouldn't keep this baby away from you and your family but now I know I was not wrong. You do not deserve me or this baby" Anika cried.
"I only..."
"Im not finished. To hell with your contract, to hell with you" Anika pushed him. Shivaay got hold of her hand and pinned her to the wall and caged her in.
"What did I say wrong? I only wanted to know..."
"How could you? how could you even ask that question? Have you lost your mind? What type of girl do you take me for? You think I sleep with every men? Am i a Wh*re?" Anika spat, fire in her eyes.
"I didn't say that" he bit out
"But you meant it" she cried as she broke down in his arms "how could you even say that Shiv? You think I would cheat on you? We have been married for one and a half years. Have I ever told you I wanted to leave? Have I ever gone somewhere and didn't tell you? And anyway this is a contract for you right? Then why do you care? Your contract ends in 6 months! What I do or where I go shouldn't concern you. But let me tell you one thing Mr Oberoi. I do not accept the fact that you think so disgustingly cheap of me. You do NOT have the right to!" she wiped her tears angrily and pushed him away while he was in shock listening to her.
"This is YOUR baby. If you don't remember then it is not my fault but your own! I should raise the question on you! You sleep with someone and don't remember? What does that say about you?" she screamed.
"A.. Anika... I..." he stammered, stil in shock.

"BAS!" she said, tired now. Tired of him, of everything. "I don't have the courage anymore Shiv, I don't want to fight, I don't want to explain, I don't want to listen. I'm tired of this. Im tired of you always hurting me when I have done nothing but love you" she said, tears falling down her beautiful face. "I loved you Shivaay" she whispered.
Shivaay stood shell shocked. He thought he heard her wrong the first time but when she whispered it, his heart broke. He had hurt her badly and now he can see it and he didn't know how to fix it.
She loves me

She didn't cheat?
Anika saw the question on his face and nodded her head in disappointment and defeat. "You still think I cheated" It wasn't a question but a statement. "Siddharth Vikram Rana came to Oberoi mansion to invite us for a surprise birthday party for his girlfriend. He was going to propose to her but needed help with the ring. Ishaana and I helped him and also arranged the party for her. Ask Ishaana if you want, we planned it all together and she was always there with us." she said, her voice flat, devoid of all emotion.
To say Shivaay was shocked would be an understatement. He felt the guilt grip his heart and twist.
What have I done?
"Anika, Im So..." He whispered, looking down with teary eyes.
"Save it Shivaay. I don't want anything from you, not even your apology. We are done." she said and went to her private bathroom and closed the door softly behind her. She slid against the door and cried her heart out. She didn't do anything to deserve this.
You broke me Shivaay
He stood rooted in place. He heard her sobs and his heart cracked. He had done this. This was all his fault. She loved him and he broke her heart. His arrogance and ego broke their relationship. It might have been contract but it had become more than that. Omkara was right. He cared for her like he cared for his brothers. He liked it when she ate his food and found it delicious. He liked it when she would keep all his stuff ready every morning for work. He liked it when she would wait for him for dinner, no matter how late it is. He liked it when she sat with his brothers and makes jokes with them. She was like a mother to them. She was the perfect bahu and wife. She never brought the contract up and always took care of him. He especially liked it when they wake up in the morning tangled together, pillow boundaries forgotten.
I like her
No I love her.

It has been 2 days since the accident and he has realised his love for her. But Anika has absolutely refused to talk to him or even look at him. She has been spending time with his brothers, Ishaana and dadi. She wouldn't acknowledge him and he was frustrated. After he realised his love, he had gone to tell Omkara and Rudra who gave him an 'I told you so' look and told him to confess his feelings to Anika and apologise to her. Unfortunately, dadi heard everything and slapped him. He was taken aback but knew he deserved it. He stood quietly whilst dadi scolded him for everything he did and told him to go on his knees and apologise to Anika. But when he finally got the courage to go to her, she was talking to dadi, Om and Rudra.
"Please Anika putter, not for Billu but please stay for us"
"Yes bhabi, don't leave us"
"Anika, we won't let you go"
"Fine! I have one condition"
Anika looked at the trio and requested them "Please don't force me to forgive Shivaay. I won't be able to forgive him for what he did. I don't want to talk to him. I need time. I don't know how long but I need time. I won't leave you because I love you all a lot but don't make me stay with him. I want to shift to the guest room"
"Whatever you want, puttar. Take your time and why guest room? Shivaay can shift there, you stay in your room" dadi said gently. She knew how hurt Anika was and she totally understood she needed time. Atleast she agreed to stay with them and that was a huge step. She couldn't lose Anika. She loved her like a grand-daughter.
"No dadi. Guest room is fine, I would rather stay in the guest room" Anika said. She didn't want to be in that room where she had so many memories.
"Okay Anika, take your time but don't leave us" Omkara added.
"Yes bhabhi, what would I do without you? Who will make jokes with me? who will cook my favourite paratha? and who will help me patao Soumya?" Rudra said emotionally.
"Dramebaaz" they all said as Anika hugged him and cried. Omkara and dadi joined their group hug while Shivaay looked from the window. He really did it this time. He screwed everything.

Coming up: Anika moves to guest room.
Shivaay tries to talk to Anika but she closes the door on his face. Omkara, Rudra, dadi looks on...

OK.. I am loving this enraged Anika! Shivay is on the way of becoming an outcast in his own home! Waking up tangled together with pillow boundaries forgotten was just such a wonderful image and it will become a distant memory for our Shivay baba now!Thank you sooo much for updating so soon!
