Okay, I watched last night's episode now and was expecting the emotional outburst of Anika as I had read so many posts here saying Anika was shown more concerned than OmRu but to be honest I didn't find any emotionally attached concern in Anika. It was pure guilt, the concern out of guilt.
I am sure most of us have gone through this kind of guilt trip in our life at some point where we have felt really worried, concerned for a almost stranger. As humans we don't feel indifferent when the people around you are worried, tensed regarding the life of their beloved one. Same was with Anika, she was obiviously concerned even Ishana and Sowmya were, but Anika had more to worry because she had wish not to see Shivay's face forever just some hours back and now his life is in danger. She was guilty, the flashbacks of those words were haunting her and it dint look any extraordinary to me, the CVs conveyed her guilt by making her talk to daadi about how she shouldn't have wished bad, how sometimes the words just turn out to be true etc.
She guilty infact very guilty and tomorrow she will be more worried because let's be real, we all will be heartbroken if the person whom we talk everyday, encounter everyday dies suddenly.
Regarding OmRu not shown being broken, their faces were surely worried but not shown to be melodramatically broken, crying etc because they were trying to be optimistic and strong like rest in the family as Shivaay is just not reachable for the moment, they haven't seen him hurt yet. I am sure tomorrow we will see their outburst with melodrama. Also 22 mins can't focus on detailed emotions of each character, so we can't jump to conclusions without seeing the next episode.
Btw, I found it so adorable and sad same time when Anika said God hasn't answered any of her wishes till now, so she is sure this wish too won't be answered.

Exactly. And how many times do we wish in retrospect that we could take back an unkind word...something that was uttered in anger? This was precisely that. Love ko chodo...it was 100% guilt from Anika's side.

Om and Rudy will definitely be heartbroken on hearing about the crash...for now they're trying to stay strong for the family. Which is what I expect from them.

Pinky's reaction. I love how they dwelled on it for a change. It was so poignant and heartrending. A mother is a mother...Nothing can change her immense love for her young one. I loved the scene where she got raksha dhagas for all the kids. And also where she dragged Anika along authoritatively to discuss the marriage details...future sasu ma and bahu...Lol.

I concede. Her reaction was more of guilt than concern, for sure. I think perhaps some folks are reading too much into things or maybe nitpicking just to release frustration on Anika? 😆 I think it was a perfectly normal reaction. In fact, when I put myself in her shoes, I would probably feel the same way, any normal human being would.

As for OmRu, emotions don't always have to be portrayed in a melodramatic and OTT way. I liked the way they responded to the situation, in a calm and understated way. There's actually a refractory period that people go through after experiencing a situation like this, emotional outbursts don't just come immediately. Under this refractory period, it is perfectly normal to feel emotions of optimism, hope and slight denial. All perfectly normal.

Anika's conversation with Dadi has made me warm up to her even more, she is indeed adorable. <3 And after yesterday, I have realised how much I like Shivaay as a character too. 😆 Missed him!

Yes yes Pinky's scene was really well done, I missed out on writing it, anyhow post was already lengthy.
I actually liked the way Anika was portrayed yesterday, her conversation with daadi, saying sorry to daadi for saying such words to Shivay. Her guilt was more by seeing the whole family being worried and anxious.
Btw, I was wondering whether everything is fine with you as I didn't see you around here for past few days. Was even planning to ask someone in some AT.

You put it so well. I found everyone's reaction in family natural, OmRu were apt in their reaction, I have gone through similar incident when a trip bus had met with accident and my friend was in it, after we heard about the accident we were desperately trying her number and it wasn't reachable, none of were crying including her family, we were scared but were hoping she is fine and kept on trying to reach the ways to her. Till we get a real story we always hope positively, don't break down. I so agree with people reading too much into Anika.

Thank you so much for asking:) Exams are killing me right now and I am swamped...will be more active after the 7th of Aug😊

After a long time decided to log in during a break.

Anika Dadi scene was excellent...and i loved how understanding and kind Dadi was. I really want Dadi to know that Anu is an orphan...she already loves Anu to bits...but if she comes to know this she'll take her under her wings and always cherish her.

All the best for your exams.

Daadi knows she is orphan, no? I thought she knows when Anika was telling her about house belonging to Sahil and she is the adopted one, but I think daadi doesn't know how heartless bua is and how is treats Anika, Sahil.
