Both Kabir and Zara are products of a patriarchal system. At this stage, am gonna be charitable to both.

If Kabir told her to stay at home, it was him who took her to work next day.It was Zara who chose to go to bank,giving importance to her personal chore on impulse.

Firstly i really dont get the entire aspect of "Kabeer is not respecting Zara?"

HOW? WHERE? AND WHEN? .. I would really want everyone who says this to qoute instances where he insulted her? or was oblivious to her, bcz even i am really looking forward to a healthy discussion. Saying he didnt hug her is very baseless IMO.

Acc to me post -kashmir Kabeer respected her more. He freaking owned up in front of everyone that he is changing bcz of Zara, if this is not respect i dont know what else is? ..

Yes he has patriarchal views, he believes a woman;s job is to stay at home, so what is the shock here? what exactly? he is suppose to be like this, didnt the same kabeer said to zara that he was ready to take a bullet bcz :biwi ki hifazat shauhar ka farz hai? ".. not that he cares or he cannot live without her or she is special .. just farz!! .. I really dont understand where did he change or is not respecting her?

Secondly, i am amazed at how no one sees how Zara is over stepping in her blind love and fangirling for her husband that she is invading his personal space. Zara needs to know she doesnt know this man, she CANNOT and BLOODY CANNOT go on taking decsions for something so dear to him. his prject is his dream, he is deeply effected by the shadow of his father and now his father-in-law, he wants to make his own identoty. How is Zara trying to help him without taking him into confidence?

Jis ne apne baap ki madad nai li wo apni biwi ki mada lega? Zara is too impulsive to realize this. Zara needs to just accept what he offers atm, he is keeping her a part of all his mental struggles and she should accept that instead of over stepping and then complaining that he didnt reciprocate bcz hhonestly, he is not bound to or liable too.

In kashmir, Kabeer gave in to Zara;s wishes of how she wanted to pursue the relationship, accepted only what she offered, he didnt go overboard with her advances, here Kabeer is offering emotional intimacy so Zara needs to stop there and not go overboard.

Thirdly, the thing about working, i am with Kabeer here again. That man is practical to realize how different they both are and cannot work together, whereas Zara on the other hand has completely forgotten how they are poles apart, she keeps on repeating "hum ik sath kaam karen gey, ik sath ghar se niklen gey" .. it pisses Kabeer off! it does! You cannot blame him for not being rosy-eyed about the biggest issue in thier marriage. Maybe if Zara gets over her notion of "working together" and just focuses on "her working", Kabeer wont have a problem.

So, Kabeer is strict and reserved, but he has NEVER ignored Zara, he keeps her as apart of his life, whatever Islam asks him to do as a good husband, yes his "love" is missing but that will take time, for now .. I dont feel Kabeer has ever being disrespectful to Zara ever !

I dthink its just that thr honeymoon seemed like a turning point for his character but nothing ended up progressing from kabirs side. He def isnt a diff character. Same as before but thats why its sad because zaara has progressed a little or at least they showed a more vulnerable side of her.

i hardly visit the this forum but watching the show frm start...

the show is all about different perspective of both Zara & kabir both have different ideologies...& they were not ready for the marriage bcoz of this same thing of different perspective so how can makers show Kabir changing in just a month or in few days of marriage even in reality it's very hard to change ppl s mindset & perspective...i don't agree with kabir that women shouldn't work & etc but this is how many men think & changing a person's thinking takes time...which Zara will try to do

about his behavior he doesn't misbehavior with her but he is not giving her time or trying to understand her i think Kabir is so stressed about his project that he is not realising that now he is married & he needs to give her time too i agree he was shy frm start & zara was bindas...but right now kabir wants to prove himself & he wants to fullfill all the duties as we know in islam it's a husband's duty & responsibility that he should take care of every need of his wife & children & give them food, clothes & everything they need...but he has not earn anything yet to give zara all the things she needs as we saw how kabir said that even his bride gift (meher) was given by his father & when he said rukhsaar 's married is fixed with a better man than him he meant that... that boy is working in Dubai & earning so he may give rukhsaar a better life & everything wealth wise than him giving zara & when zara shown her interest to work & help him his ego got hurt...

i'm sure zara will try & explain things in light of islam to Kabir & slowly slowly he will change his thinking & it's good to show this issue so ppl should know about the women empowerment in Islam...

as we know Hazrat e khadija ( RA ) is one of history's most remarkable women & i'm sure Zara will talk about her in upcoming episodes that women can work

Khadija was born to a father who was a successful merchant in their Quraysh tribe of Mecca. She inherited her father's skills at a time in history when society was male-dominated and dangerous. Upon her father's death, she took over the business and traded goods through the primary commerce centers at that time from Mecca to Syria and to Yemen hiring the most trustworthy men of character to brave the dangerous trade routes.

& later she got married to Hazrat muhammad ( pbuh )

Her business was larger than all of the Quraysh trades combined, and it was the most acclaimed with a reputation of fair-dealing and high-quality goods.

Khadijah ( ra )earned two titles: Ameerat Quraish ( Princess of Quraish ) and at-Tahira ( the Pure One ) due to her impeccable personality and virtuous character, not to mention her honorable descent.Khadija ( ra ) gave her earnings to the poor and to the orphans,to the widows and the sick. She helped poor girls get married and provided their dowry...

In Islam it is preferred that women remain at home to look after the family and train children. Still if no male guardian lives with her or if he is ill or his income is insufficient, she may go out to earn but in hijab & here zara wants to work & she goes out in hijab so she can work. During the time of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), there were women traders and there were instances when women participated in wars to supply water or to nurse the wounded & as i mentioned about Hazrat Khadijah (ra) was the richest business woman of Quraysh & At present thousands of Muslim women in hijab work in hospitals, banks, schools, colleges and many other congenial working places.

so eventually Kabir will change his thinking & will agree that zara can work both at home & out side too
