Ruksar is the most dumbest vamp ever! I mean even if abbu does something for her woth regards to kabir, how the hell on this earth she thinks that kabir would marry her after leaving his wife..lol😆 the most annoying character. As i watch the show online, i just skip her bits! Just cant stand that god damn stupid character😡

I love Zara more too. But that's always the case for me, me being a female I am always inclined towards supporting and loving the FL more. And Zara's very easy to love 😳

Exactly! But it's weird because up until the honeymoon CVs at least showed attraction/interest from Kabeer's side but now there is not even an inkling of it.

I do know he has a good heart so he I hope he is not made into an asshole, I trust he won't be as he will slowly come around to understand Zara's POV.

Agreed, but it's hard to skip Rukhsar's scenes when she is also shown in between ZaBeer scenes Seriously might as well put her on the show's montage, God knows she gets more screen-time than the leads together.

I have just read your post, and not at any of the comments as yet.

This is exactly how i feel. He is clipping her wings indeed. It annoys me when men think they have the upper hand in everything, and he is behaving as though Zara has no choice but to keep mum and listen to all the crap he is throwing at her. Zara must be strong, but she is too naive, way too naive..and it is hurting me deeply. I didn't expect for Kabir to be like this, he is a Molvi, he has the knowledge of women and their rights in Islam, and yet he is just being selfish and plain nasty!

There is so much of him that is annoying.

The first this is, he shows very little to no interest in his wife. It is always Zara who is making the initiative. Hello Joker, you both are in a relationship. I understand why shyness ir whatever, but come on! Be a man!!

Secondly, how he believs that he has full control on Zara especially by telling her to stay home!!!!!

Anyways, u thought i was being selfish and to let the story unfold a bit. But the truth is the CVS have me disappointed. I dont even want to keep a positive outlook anymore.

Hey Mariam! I agree with you, Zara will eventually stand up for herself, this is the biggest reason I haven't completely given up on the show yet, even though I have always been wary of the content shown on Zee TV. Unless CVs decide to butcher her character, I know she will fight back soon. I'm afraid after the investor thing, as per segment, it will be HER trying to pacify HIM and not the other way around Adnan even said in the IV Kabeer doesn't want to talk to her until she sees his way 🥱

And I still don't get why what Rukhsar said shocked him and annoyed him so much it hurt his ego? Like he didn't already know the reason his Abbu got him and Zara married? Come on, he's not that dumb. So it's kinda annoying how he reacted. At least to me. Definitely, other family members shouldn't get involved in such personal matters, especially another na-meheram still after the ML 🤢

I want Zara to fly even without his support, to show him what she's capable of. And she truly is capable of great things. Eventually he will support her but for now, I want her to say 'enough is enough' and take a stand.

And here's the thing, I don't even blame Kabeer I blame the CVs for his character's 180. He went from mooning over her and staring at her to showing almost indifference. And they're newlyweds fs! Imagine how a woman who has entered an arranged marriage would feel at this stage! Vulnerable and needing reassurance and some sort of reciprocation. Not putting in 100% and getting nothing in return

See I know what you're saying regarding Kabeer but I'm going to have to disagree with it. Because I find it annoying when a man feelings short of himself and in a roundabout way, takes it out on his woman. He's taking the disappointment in himself, out on an unsuspecting Zara who is just being supportive and caring. I hate watching that. Especially as a woman myself. Maybe I'm just being very sensitive but I guess that's just how I feel.

I don't think there is anything wrong with defending him lol, they're just characters at the end of the day! And I haven't given up on him either, like I said, I blame the CVs foremost because at the very least, they should have shown him transitioning to giving her time, to getting busy with his duties as naib qazi. Whereas it went from, them being half in love in Kashmir, to him almost ignoring her existence and affection

Man of dreams toh door ki baat hai, first let him at least become an attentive husband who gives his wife some time and freedom 😆

They started such a beautiful story and now they've just reduced kabeer to a few confused eyelocks.

Like that saying something like the higher u fly the harder you fall. Zara is in her dreamlike right now, and today I think she's started to take steps towards reality.

I think kabeer was taking baby steps towards her like sitting on the dinner table but now ruks have filled his ears. It' hurt his inner male ego, he's disappointed in himself as he thinks he's worthless.

And to stop ruks words about zara coming true he is making sure she stays at home so no one can say she is the reason for his post. He needs time to heal the disappointment he has in himself.

I don't know if I should defend him or not. I'm really upset with how he just fails to acknowledge her every time... But I'm not gonna give up on him yet.

He will become the man of her dreams. Eventually😕

in red: yea that is where i still cling my hope in Kabir. He always talks the fact that his father is rich and not him. The meher money is again signed by his father and not him! Eventually he made a statement today that may be ruksar got a better man than him! These pointers clearly state that he wants to stand on his own and earn all he wants! He just feels that zara's interference will stop him from flying coz of their difference in pov

i just want him to learn that zara is the one who can stand with him and help him earn what he wants and meanwhile creating a heck of a change in society's thinking! Pata nahi kya hi hoga😕

I absolutely agree with you! Zara is clean at heart and she is very innocent and naive. It hurts me to watch her go around with her heart on her sleeve like this I can see the pain and heartbreak coming from a mile away! And it's fine, this is a show they can show what they want, but Kabeer used to show softer feelings towards her and regard her until now, where he acts like he's married to just anyone woman his father choose and that's that. She's a non-entity.

@red - I love you for saying this! 🤣 And you know what it makes me laugh because the same people who are saying they consummated their relationship are saying he still uncomfortable when she holds his hand or rests her head against his shoulder. SERIOSULY? You're telling me they've slept together and he's still shy holding her hand, even when they're just in their room together? Come on 🥱

He has no reason to answer her calls or give a proper explanation why he ignored them, but dare she say she wants to be out and about making a career 🤔

You are not in any way being selfish. We knew Kabeer would be like this, but it's like CVs showed no sort of transition for him. This much shyness in him has come out of nowhere. Heck even before marriage he used to look at her with some sort of affection now he could be married to Rukhsar for all anyone cares. It's like there's no difference? At least they should have shown him being soft towards her, then slowly and steadily becoming more busy with his duties and then show him at least be a little apologetic that he can't give her time?

It is not what the story is right now that is bothersome (minus the 'other woman' angle which I will always HATE), it is how they gone about telling it.

Nope I've got no more justifications, what he is doing is 100% wrong.

I'm coming out of my kabeer illusion, HE NEEDS TO CHANGE! and fast!!!

I really love adnan and his phenomenal acting however slowly but surely the cvs r butchering kabeers character.

It' wrong and totally going in the wrong direction. It's forced since just yesterday he was ready to listen to her about the dinner thing.

I read a tweet and it was about the 3rd stanza of the OST, that perhaps it' aimed at zaras present condition. Phelu mein ghuut ghuut. It's the iniial stages, I need her to show the world that zara siddiqui will do what she believes is right! And as for kabeer he needs to sort himself out ASAP, just appreciate her for once yaar.

Haha, I'm all about the peace! And if I ever sound snippy when I'm debating let me know! 😆 I'm just being passionate from my side but still, I would never want to hurt anyone's feelings.

There is nothing wrong if you can or cannot justify his actions. I will still pin 100% of the blame on how CVs have shown his character's transition in the last week. Frankly, it SUCKS! But I am glad you can see what I and a few are seeing, his character is deteriorating in front of my eyes. I don't want to see a perfect ML by any means, but his behavior is just becoming annoying, to put it simply. Like it has come out of nowhere 🤔

Coming from a muslim background where My family is really pro education etc. And girls are given equal authority and rights as boys. No one is treated differently, in fact my mum still finished off her masters after marriage and works too and my dad has supported her always.

And that' how it's supposed to be. Both husband and wife r supposed to be eachothers strengths not pull eachother down or like u said clipping eachothers wings.

So bottom line I'm really disappointed in kabeers characterisation. I k cvs will redeem him but when and how?

I can't see zara a girl who represents all women fighting for their rights, in this depressing situation where her importance is not appreciated

@bold - Aye you're spot on! I had thought of this reason for so many days but didn't want to say anything 'cause I didn't want to get hate or be labelled as a judgmental person lol 😆 So I kept my mouth shut. But glad you have realized this! Also maybe I'm wrong, but for some other girls I have seen especially on twitter - I feel like they are defending Kabeer's character because he is at least not a physically abusive asshole like the heroes in Gul etc. shows were. But just because he doesn't have THAT major flaw, doesn't mean Kabeer is the next best thing since slice bread, ya know?

Agreed with everything else you said! At this stage, and especially looking at the future segments where Kabeer is seen angry at/cornering/semi-yelling at Zara and her being on the verge of tears, I don't think I have the heart to see her go through more of putting herself out there, and get ignored and down-trodden. So guess I will take a longer break from watching the show, for my own sanity 😆 I guess all we can do is pray the time passes fast until she gets to the stage she takes a solid stand for her rights as a woman. The beauty of feminism is it fundamentally gives a woman choice and equality, universally. If a woman wants to be a housewife and only look after her house and family, she has every right to and should be supported. But if a woman wants to make a career or herself, put her education to good use, and tell the world she values herself as a WOMAN before being a wife or DIL, then MORE POWER TO HER! We're a strong gender, when we put our mind to it, we can juggle many responsibility no problemo! 😃 I hope to see Zara back off from trying to convince Kabeer, and just take action, SHOW him what she is capable of!

Lol thanks nandini, honestly Im so glad I've seen both my parents putting effort into their marriage.

And girl I was feeling the same way but I kept brushing it off to prevent me from getting a heartache.

If they could give us some mini scenes of kabeer analysising himself and questioning his feelings for zara. I'd be over the moon. But I think the cvs have missed that train, they can't give us anything now cus clash of nazariya is upon us now. So the earliest we could get this is either after his project actually starts or when ruks leaves the house for good.

I've not given up yet like I kind of have with kdb, but I'm gonna take little breaks and focus fully on exams.

This investor track and reconciling could take a while.

But yeh thanks for opening my eyes, I shouldn't find excuses for kabeers behaviour.

I think we're all just sick and tired mentally and physically of the same repetitive cycle of torture. We've all bore crap from other snf shows and in the past I've always started shows half way through to prevent disinterest developing. My recent one was kdb and along with arohi, jhanvi, hiba I'm sure it's safe to say we will only return if punnu drama ends forever.

I can' undo anything. But I can try to be patient. Maybe there's a wonderful sunrise behind this dark cloud.
