loved ur writing..and loved yesterday's episode too much..Mishal is great..awesome with his expressions...His angry young man image in laagi was absolutely brilliant👏👏..I used to love his voice modulation in that show..the way he used to shout and scream..and he is equally brilliant in IKRS...hats off to a genius actor👏..and Eisha had improved a lott with her romantic looks..I felt..and these days the episodes are very well written and directed👏..A big round of applause to the whole IKRS team

Sweetness and Light

Greed - a human preoccupation. Wanting more and more to no end. Originating from the need to fill a dark black hole and ending in the same place where it started. Once recognized in others can be used as a powerful weapon , to feed the frenzy and gain control and that is what I found DT doing today.

KT is a wanabe power grabber and DT is well aware of it . You call his action good manners and I say its his political savviness of giving a little control to get a greater one. He is known to keep pets as in Trip and now Bahuji and a little bone always ensures that they keep coming back for more. Well played by DT . And of course it goes with a warning - this is only till the time you don't make any mistakes.

The couple set out to start their new lives when the car breaks down in the storm and they take shelter in an abandoned shack. Dhani complains that she is hungry and the gallant groom fresh from taking a vow to look after his bride heads out to get supplies. What follows is a beautiful few minutes. Finding herself alone Dhani takes a few minutes to herself to let everything sink in. It was a whirlwind marriage and now was her time to relish the life changing event that had occurred. She hugs the red chuni closer as if to feel and absorb its red color, Puts her hand up her maang to check its presence and if all this was not a dream. Yes she was married something that seemed impossible not very long ago. Yet a sense of fear lurks ...her past and she needs he husband to know.

Viplav returns with the goods and makes her sit besides him and treats her to the rabri-jalebi he has bought . Watches her every move in love and admiration waiting for her to finish so that he can do the one thing he has been longing to do . Present her with red bangles which he had said he would during the early part of their acquaintance and was scolded for suggesting such a thing to a widow. At Ghazipur too and just recently when called her for a secret meeting and his mom turned up . He has never been able to give them but this time she is his wife and he has full right to do so . Gently he puts them on as well as a small shiny bindi on her forehead . Overwhelmed Dhani talks of how a small moment can change the course of life to which Viplav thinks back of his mothers deception and how things may never be the same with her. Not wanting to disrupt the happy mood he continues to chat about their times together.

Dhani reminds him of all the troubles he had created for her and Viplav reminds her that it was he who helped her out of them as well . Again very symbolic to me..Viplav will be the poison and her medicine . ( A little @sammy rubbing in ) She also reminds him of the latest incidence , his anger and how she is always afraid of loosing him . He promises her that this will not happen he will not let it happen. I wonder if Vip indeed can keep this promise as he has made these many times before . Its his weakness - getting swayed away in emotions and being impulsive and maybe Dhani knows it too.

Dhani is nostalgic and lost in her thoughts when Vip questions her as to what is troubling her. She tells him that there a part of her life that he does not know and he should . Viplav unable to fathom as to what could be so horrific in her past that she is so afraid brushes it off soothing her - we all have a past . you have one and so do I . How does it matter to our future ? A very brave and gallant approach of a modern guy but a mistake. Always know but not care is the right approach for this one. But Viplav being Viplav is all excited about the future and the fun they will have for their rest of their lives , gathers her in his arms asking her to forget her worries.

A call from his mother reminding him to return as it is stormy outside . On Dhanis request he is polite to her and tells her he will well in time. Viplav in no hurry to return wants to be alone with his new wife as he has unfinished business , at least not before he gets to kiss her .

So what did i think of the episode ? I am a bit leery about romantic scenes on television even when i don't watch any of these shows. Those prolonged stills of starng at each other , the wait times of a hand moving from point A to Point B are cheesy at times. But I am glad to say that these two actors do it very well . Its commendable that they both make it look so credible. I thought it was fantastic and chemistry sizzling.

Cannot sign off without mentioning _ Mishal . Have heard so much from you all regarding his earlier role. If he excelled in the portrayal of a brooding and tortured character before I have to say that his portrayal of a forward thinking fun loving emotional guy is another spectrum to his talent. Was talking to my sister yesterday about this actor and saying why should such talent be restricted only to shows that are only for a targeted audience on telly. Bollywood cannot be the only platform for actors. How I wished Indian television was more mature to make shows for a wider audience with smarter plots so that such actors could rule this platform . Anyways ..I love him as Viplav .

Will also commend Eisha who is putting so much hard work in her craft and I have seen such improvement in her. She stands up against Mishal & Kajal - hats off to her.

Yes, Hammie, Poor Dhaani has "saas-yog" rather than "vidhwa-yog" in her "horrorscope!" It turns out that Shalu is getting her rishta pukka with Dhani's dead husband's brother. Therefore the ex-ma-outlaw will arrive and park herself in Ayodhya nivas for a while in the ruse of finalizing wedding arrangements. As though one saas's sassy antics were not enough, poor dhani has to have another saas come and eclipse her life. We will be lucky if ViDha shaadi will be revealed to the Tripathi khaandan and the world a year from now!😆😆

Very true Hammie ... Greed in all of us for something or the other is what makes us human and how we deal with that tells us what we are made of.

my avarice these days is for snatching time to write..

D T and his greed for power and money is obvious but his cunning is shown in how he controls those around him by handing out just enough power to his Bahu and even Trip yes .. he is the grand brain behind them all.. reins in his hands!

so they might think... D T the old fool is trusting again when in reality he is giving them a little to keep them pacified so later he can again threaten to take it away as punishment... DT is one dangerous "Bicchoo" (Scorpion") that strikes from the rear...

yes he is shrewd..farsighted , but then even satan fell from grace..

Forgetting both D T and K T , the best part was with Viplav and Dhaani and their happiness at being married and enjoying each other without any negativeness from the outside world. Giddy and full of good cheer Viplav brings sweet food to feed a hungry Dhaani.

And here is where I see both of them full of sweetness and their hearts full of light that is easily seen in their eyes.

We get to see a little of Dhaani's past in the F B and she does bring it up to tell Viplav but Viplav in his usual manner tells her that their past is past and they should concentrate in their present and future .

well.. and we'll have to see what the future holds for them..

But knowing Indian Serials it is bound to come back to bite them when they least expect it. But for the present time it was indeed a sweet interlude to see our young lovers enjoying their brief time alone together so happily .

yes and.. the audience in the main have been conditioned to feed on the impossible..
