Sometimes it best to hold your piece and listen. Then say it at the appropriate time when its likely to have a greater impact. For interruption in the middle of a dialogue between two people may put the speaker off, jar the speakers train of thoughts. So to speak at an opportune moment is the key to getting your point of view across. Today's episode is the other part of the conversation that happened between Dhani and Viplav. During the outdoor scenario Viplav spoke and came up with a final verdict to imminent problems they consistently faced. They would get married right away. Dhani was swept with the idea it was what she always dreamed about, to marry yet again , but this time to the man she loves and he reciprocates. She heard him gobsmacked , but today.. she will tell Viplav what she really feels.
The very act that she restrains his hand with the pinch of vermillion from reaching her forehead say's it all to Viplav.. this girl loves me for real. She doesn't want to marry me for the sake of it , but wants marriage as a celebration not just between me and her, but a marriage between our families. Without their participation and blessings, this marriage ceremony would be incomplete. She makes a point, she is fully aware, that someone around us is plotting to separate us ,but by marrying her in this manner the conflict will not be resolved ,but complicate matters further between his mother and her ..dhani is right as she wants to be received in my family with dignity. Not as a girl who has forcibly squirmed her way into my mansion.. and how can I forget dada ji my icon , Dhani also keeps in mind my dada ji's good name.. like a true devotee! mine Dhani does . She can see from my expression , I am not pleased.. why would I be? she virtually leaves our love open to attack , muses Viplav .. but as if she knows how he feels she stands up .. he watches her go towards the holy fire and holds her palm over it! and gives her oath to him.. her word , her vow of commitment without going through the actual circumambulations of marriage..I swear by this holy fire I shall be yours forever, till my last breath!.. Dhani vows to Viplav before his two friends Raj and pankhuj . Viplav with a heavy heart and sore face accepts her commitment reluctantly and confirms with her till the dust doesn't settle down in both families the wedding stands postponed! She knows I am disappointed and soothes me by her words, it's only a matter of days , when with the blessings of our elders we'll be joined together in the bond of marriage. They hug and Viplav thinks, what is the point, she has beaten him at all the arguments in the court of love, and what's more she right, his heart tells him .. she's right , that true love gives joy to others not give sorrow.. muses viplav.
At home Kanak is on the phone to Raj , where is Viplav? The son answers , here I am, yes she is proper concerned to see him in a grooms attire and he takes her out of her misery and tells her he went to the temple to marry Dhani , but she turned him down.. because Dhani is Dhani there's none other like her! and he arrived at his conclusion that she is the right girl to be my life partner..it was my father who died , he shouldn't have thought of marriage at this point , but she is the one who turned me down! and you as my mother, must be wondering why I took this step? Well it was to put a stop to the ploys of somebody who is trying to create misunderstandings between me and her! every day one thing or the other happens, so I thought if I get married the ploys will end! but I am proud of Dhani ,she showed me the way... his grandparents turn up and he confesses before them too, what he planned to do. Viplav now tells them , that Dhani says till the atmosphere in our house doesn't settle down their marriage is on hold...why I contemplated this route because I felt that someone is trying to separate me from dhani. But as of, now mine and dhani's will has become stronger He turns to the woman he trusts in this household.. dadi now no one can shake us...then he asks his mother, do you still believe that Dhani is not the right person for me? This scene very nearly shows that Viplav in a veiled way threatens his mother ,that he is going to marry Dhani no matter what. He may suspect his mother, who is fairly open in showing her dislike towards Dhani. Also by telling them Dhani turned him down, he elevates Dhani's image as a girl who comes to keep the family united not to disintegrate it.She heralds goodwill
At the ashram Dhani presents the shawl to each member of her family. The shawl is the mantle of love and respect that Viplav feels for each member of Dhani's family, as their would be son in law. Dhani narrates her account to her mother that it was Bijli who turned Viplav against her so he left in a huff. Thus Viplav thought he would marry her today ,but she turned it down till all settles down in his house, Raj laxmi looks visibly upset at the thought that Viplav would have married Dhani today ,if Dhani hadn't refused. dhani says , we both agreed that we would bring happiness to both families and as such, he sent these shawls as a gift. But Dhani is anxious why tripurari wishes, that a split happens between her and viplav?? Raj laxmi smiles silently and knowingly. Is Raj laxmi, tripurari's new mole in the ashram , like Suvarna used to be? Dulari is mighty proud of Dhani's wise decision...by keeping her family posted in all major decisions of her life, Dhani empowers each member of her ashram family ,as they all feel they have contributed positively to this young widows mind set. Dulari as her mother blesses her daughter abundantly ,for honouring her and the ashram's good name.. will Viplav get the same love from his mother?
Viplav is drawn to his princess , as he distributes shawls to his family members on Dhani's behalf ..so now from Dhani , this shawl is the mantle of love and respect for her new family of which she will soon be part off at the opportune time.Dadi accepts with a big smile and gratitude. Dashrant, though sneers at Kanak ,as he tells Viplav, it's so noteworthy how his mother is overjoyed at her son's happiness, which clearly Kanak is far from. So when Viplav goes to change.. Dashrant mockingly and forcibly puts the Dhani's gifted shawl on Kanak's shoulder with a cold bark he warns her, she'd better brace herself to accept Dhani as her bhau ! angrily he growls his distaste , they are still together! looks like due to her over clever ploys she can't do much to stop Dhani and Viplav from marrying! So Dashrant's true colours come out too! he is still against the idea of Dhani entering his household.. and I was beginning to think he was pleased on seeing Viplav and Dhani.. but it seems , its only about , viplav not being harmed ,and not about him marrying Dhani.. all his hugging Viplav is sheer hypocrisy.. Kanak pulls off the shawl, Dhani's gift from her shoulders and hurls it to the ground as is she become unclean! It's an act of never will she accept Dhani!
Kanak contacts her partner in crime over the phone, and briefs him about the latest , basically that his bijli ploy failed ,instead Viplav would have married Dhani today ,had Dhani not refused him. Kanak, jeers at him that he is good for nothing! all his plans to separate Dhani from Viplav back fire. Tripurari is at the temple and Dhani too happens to be there.. she hides and sees him talking to someone. He notices her and then confronts her and tells her whose behind this game.. the sound is muted.. whatever he tells her, is his new trick that he reckons will separate Viplav and Dhani!
Viplav sees his princess has accepted Dhani's love in the form of the shawl which dadi draped over her shoulders. Dadi also as the elder of the house ,on behalf of Viplav's mother , yet again sends gold kangans for Dhani.. which Viplav goes off to give Dhani.. another symbol that reinforces ,that marriage between Viplav and Dhani is still on the cards or is destined.. evil can flap about! the gods may postpone their union ,but not cancel it altogether...
Durga as a mother begs Viplav to get off her son tripurari's case. She vouches he is innocent as he was at home the night of the murder .. she cries she is not lying ,besides without proof he cannot convict her son.. Viplav knows she is not lying , but this he knows too that tripurari is such a low life that he wouldn't bat an eye ,to use the soft touch approach of both his wife and mother. Viplav does assure her that he gives his word , that he would let tripurari be ,but will continue to gather proof against him to get him convicted for his father's murder . Viplav may seem harsh, devoid of compassion ,but as a lawyer he takes the right stand.
Vilav is pulled towards the ashram ,and why not? all the love that he perhaps starves for at home and is denied ,he gets here! these once strangers now family to him..he doesn't fail to admire them and dulari replies with a huge smile , why not smiles ?he gave the shawls with such love. Dulari teases him , she heard he was about to do a mammoth task today .. he smiles shyly and admits, her buchiya is great , she showed him the right path.. she knows him more then he s does himself .then Dhani comes down the stairs and he reminds her.. every one, got their pressie and he's got something for her too but he needs to come up with her...
Kanak to brings babu ji a sweet gift.. feeds her babu ji some ladoos.This scene actually reminds me of a very badly behaved nasty piece of work! a naughty over grown school girl.. who needs a good hiding!..she is full of wicked tease and tit for tat black mail. Feeds Dashrant the ladoo then reminds him, how he poisoned her once ,and her dear departed husband had saved her life by calling the doctor..however she giggles, how would you know that the laddo you eat might have been poisoned. Dashrant runs to the window and spits out the ladoo from his mouth, when he returns , Kanak lounges in his chair and symbolizes it's the ladoo of his status and power she's after. Scoffing she pokes fun of his age and gets him out of his misery ..only joking! they are not poisoned.. you teased me downstairs so now its my turn! mocks Kanak.. but she is a dangerous threat to dashrant's life ,he is aware of what this viper is after!
Dhani brings Viplav the room upstairs, she's restless wants to tell him something desperately, she's troubled..but Viplav cannot contain the gusto of his love, no me first! plonks her down and pulls a stool and sits before her, bids her to close her eyes, give me your hand , he whispers , and then tries to push the kangan past her squeezed hand , struggles as the kada won't slide down.. Dhani has a FB of tripurari at the temple.. Viplav still struggles and she opens her eyes and he teases, you've become fat eating all those spuds! look dadi s kangan won't budge ,what to do? ,Dhani takes the kangan from him and snaps at him I am not fat! but you're certainly thick! And she twists the screw and he gives her a beamer smile, thanks.. and he puts it on her wrist and admits look I've never put kangan's on any girl before ,so how am I supposed to know? Give me your other hand and dadi was so right they appear all the more pretty on your wrists. Do you like them? but as usual whenever they are together the evil presence comes between them and she appears anxious, seems lost somewhere else.. Viplav shakes her out of her thoughts ,what is it Dhani?you wanted to say something .. well say something then??
Lovely episode,Dhani does exactly what we all wanted and Viplav used it to exemplify her imagebefore his family. raj laxmi's expressions were very odd in the episode.. I too am wondering about her intentions,regards viplav.. I wonder whose name tripurari tells dhani ? dashrant or kanak? hamlet53 3.2.16
