the first year was really amazing ...a wholesome show with some really good performances ..i doubt EK has the patience or the creative team to invest in the same type of grandeur again ...have not seen her Chandra Nandini but heard she more or less copied JA ....

Sometimes I wonder if it is problem with me, if my tolerance and attention span has reduced. I just cant tolerate BW movies these days and almost all ITV shows also suck

You are right..

These days we can just ffwd anything we don’t like and there is just so much content and information.. it’s too much.

Remember when we used to wait for movies to be released and go to theatre and watch. Now everything is so easily available.. just a click away.

There was simplicity and innocence in older movies.. we never analysed them much.. and now watching old movies.. that innocence can be felt again.. I watch them because I realise they are part of me.. and I want to feel those emotions again..which new movies don’t have at all. Feelings nai aaj kal ke romantic movies main.. they are such duds.

I watched it in the beginning but then left .. Rajat looked hotter in it.. but I think shweta Basu was a miscast in the show.. didn’t like her at all..

and the problem lies in the fact that these social messages get drowned in the rating system...so to increase the trps the female lead is shown being humiliated, crying and what not....the saga of all ITV shows sadly

gender equality does not exist in ITV as long as trp exists..

The problem is not with the foundation of the story but the execution where they make lead a victim who cries so much and then once she gets all courage and again it is in repeat. For example Anupama, I have not seen it much but I know the story is about a hosewife who is cheated by husband and then she divorces him, become independent. This sounds so nice. But the execution is so bad and cringy.

I watched MEET for Ashi Singh. It looks good and theme suits the backdrop as they are showing Haryana girl. Lets see if it becomes an exception.

I just saw Akshi's story for today. Yeh dono hafte ke kis din nahin milte? Aise toh inn dono ka buddy-pan itna badh jaayega ki sambhaale na sambhlega

I remmeber the time I used to watch shows on TV and I used to stick to it even during Ad break as I did not want to miss even a montage or title song😆

We used to live in town where there used to be electricity cut during Summer for few hours. Then we all cousins used to pray, lighten diya so that electricity is back on and we get to watch our favorite shows or BW movies on TV. I remmebrer once there was Gopi Kishan movie and suddenly we had power cut and we immediately started singing prayers😆. And we had watched Gopi Kishan 2-3 times before🤣

Old memories😭
