Ishqi's job, Ishqi not taking Ahaan's financial help which would cause conflicts in them, Ahaan slowly helping her in kitchen, Ishqi trying ti buy old age home etc. I think writers brought pregnancy in the hope that it may increase TRP but in that they ruined the show.

This show really isn't ready to go off air. 😭

This is the same home renovated. Ahaan not knowing Ishqi's familial dynamics got her kicked out of the new home that he had paid lease for and basically called each business to not employ her, but at the same time got the place where she was originally living renovated so they would still have a safe place to stay. Obviously he did not know at the time that Ishqi was trying to keep away from Mausa for almost killing her Mausi, and that there was no plaster / roof issue in that home. Hence when he saw Mausa at the resort, they recognized each other. Mausa was still living there so he was prob happy with all the reno work, etc ...

However, once Ahaan found out about Mausa, he made sure latter would never bother Ishqi & Mausi again (with Chachi's help). So he probably made sure he doesn't come near that home.

Also Ishqi saved money in the AC unit at older house - and she mentioned it recently so it is definitely the same house. And that's my theory (stated above).

nice, this makes sense now about saving money in the ac part...but did they ever mention Ahaan renovated the old house?

Ahaan has met Mausaji at Mayank-Ishqi roka ceremony, mausaji was the one first agreed to immediate marriage so that Ishqi will leave their home soon

No they didn't mention. That is my assumption / theory - it happened during the 6 months leap. He probably paid the landowners to renovate thinking the roof etc might be unsafe. He may have reverted the new lease (for that separate place "gift" from Mayank) and took away jobs but he made sure the original house they were staying in was OK.

I am going by Ahaan's character and rage - yes he wanted to destroy her life but to him her life was her career or whatever so he destroyed that only - he did not want to physically harm her. Yes he had met Mausa before but when they re-met at the resort, he was surprised to know that Ishqi brought Mausi with her just so she could pursue her ambition of working. All the insults etc by Tamasha gang he wanted her to speak up like she always did, not knowing this job was her family's only source of income and the kind of danger Mausa was to her and Mausi.

I have a slightly different take on this...

I think the house actually owned by mausaji/mausi..they never showed her struggles to pay the rent for the current house(in the initial episodes )..she was looking for a good job so that she can afford a new home..and take mausi away

After breaking the marriage...he did take her job, new house and even called the police so that she would tell the reason behind breaking the marriage ..because she kept refusing to give the reason saying "I cant tell reason but trust me that I dint do anything wrong".. there was even monologue from Aahaan, thinking why my heart doesn't want to believe she did anything wrong..he never really wanted to get her arrested (Ishqi herself goes to police to get the handcuffs.. he even mentioned that to Karthik later)..But when Ishqi did not show up after Ahaan waits all night at the pool he came in fit of rage and said thaba kardunga dialogue and did not want to listen to her ..

I feel Ahaan never tried to contact her in the 6 months... only made sure she doesn’t get any job so that she would come to him and tell the truth ( reason for this thinking could be her behavior in the past..when she got her arrested for stealing his car, she came back broke his office glass) …about the new house Ahaan felt Ishqi wanted resolve the house issue by herself as she always says she doesn't need any man's support....when mausi is at hospital..Ahaan also questioned her why do you act like you don't take Mausaji's help ...how bad he will feel when he hears this..something like that....he assumed mausaji will resolve the house issue and the family runs on Mausaji's income..

After post leap he was shocked to see her holding his legs and begging for apology (this I heard in one of the BTS ..director explaining the scene) and did all those stupid things to get her reaction... after Mausaji's truth he realized what he did by snatching the job from her so he promised himself again to protect her and made sure Mausaji did not come back to that house again ....

In the recent episode also when Ishqi tries to hide the reason for coming late Ahaan mentions this to her by keeping quiet in the past tume kochukahu but dont want to repeat that mistake again...he blamed himself for not trying hard to find the truth...

During EDKV, they had shot for almost a week's worth episodes, I remember it as 3 (the FL was unwell, had been hospitalised, so the pressure was on the ML and the other characters) and just as the FL started shooting, they decided on axing the show. So the last week or two of the show was episodes they had already shot when the FL wasn't around and the remaining 2 episodes or so was wrap up. Or something like that... Cannot remember exactly how it happened...

That show (which I used to like a lot) was badly wrapped up not only due to the FL’s illness but also issues between the FL & PH/ML as I read somewhere. They had a choice to replace the FL (as she had to tske a lot of time off) or shut the show.

It is unfortunate that in Itv shows they hardly develop the non lead characters & plots (except saas as villian) so if the ML or FL is missing for even a few day they cannot manage a few episodes.
