Ishq Wali Duniya

The tension in the Malhotra household had finally begun to ease — but not without scars. Riya had faced the family’s disappointment, but Ishqi and Ahaan, in a moment of grace, had decided to forgive her. Riya's remorse had been genuine, her tears sincere.

But Dadi... Dadi’s betrayal ran too deep. Her manipulation, her endless scheming — it wasn’t something the family could simply overlook. For too long, she had tried to control Ahaan’s life, twisting the truth and hurting Ishqi at every turn.

"Aisi saza deni chahiye ki phir kisi ki zindagi mein aisi zeher na ghole," Kartik had declared, voice cold as steel.

Ahaan had agreed. Dadi had been sent away to their ancestral home — cut off from the family she once controlled.

But Ishqi, ever the heart of the Malhotra family, had sensed Ahaan’s turmoil. His heart carried too much weight — years of being manipulated, of living under Dadi’s thumb. So when Kartik, Sonu, and Raj had come up with an idea to send Ishqi and Ahaan on a romantic getaway, Ishqi knew it was exactly what her husband needed.

“Yeh sab kya hai?” Ahaan asked, eyeing the packed bags in the car's backseat.

Ishqi grinned, adjusting her oversized sunglasses. “Surprise trip, AVM!”

Ahaan’s brow arched. “Surprise trip? Ishqi, tum jaanti ho na main–”

“—Planning aur control ke bina nahi jeeta.” Ishqi finished his sentence with a teasing smile. “Par iss baar tumhe sirf relax karna hai.”

Ahaan shook his head, but there was a smile playing at his lips. “Mujhe dar lag raha hai. Jab tum kuch plan karti ho na, toh ya toh bomb phat ta hai ya tsunami aati hai.”

Ishqi leaned closer, lowering her voice. “Aur kabhi kabhi... aag bhi lagti hai,” she whispered, her voice deliberately sultry.

Ahaan’s fingers gripped the steering wheel a little tighter.

The cabin stood hidden between tall pine trees, a quaint structure with wooden walls and a balcony overlooking a crystal-clear lake. It was private, secluded — the kind of place where stolen kisses turned into sleepless nights.

“Yeh jagah toh kamaal ki hai,” Ahaan admitted, taking in the view.

Ishqi tossed her hair over her shoulder. “Of course! Tumhari biwi hoon, kuch bhi adhura thodi chhodti hoon.”

“Dekhte hain...” Ahaan murmured, his gaze flickering mischievously as he moved closer.

Before Ishqi could react, Ahaan grabbed her by the waist and spun her around, pinning her against the balcony railing.

“Yeh kya kar rahe ho?” she asked, breath hitching.

“Relax kar raha hoon,” Ahaan said, voice dropping lower. His fingers slowly trailed down her arm. “Tumne hi toh kaha tha…”

Ishqi swallowed hard. “Ahaan... subah ka waqt hai...”

“Main toh sirf views enjoy kar raha hoon,” Ahaan teased, his fingers now grazing her waist.

Ishqi giggled, shoving him away. “Tum bilkul pagal ho!”

Ahaan’s face softened. “Main pagal hoon, par sirf tumhare liye.”

That evening, the air had turned chilly, and Ishqi had wrapped herself in a blanket, settling near the fireplace. Ahaan walked in, wearing a white shirt with the sleeves rolled up — a sight that never failed to weaken Ishqi’s resolve.

“Tumhe thand lag rahi hai?” he asked, kneeling beside her.

“Thodi si,” Ishqi replied, pulling the blanket tighter.

Ahaan disappeared into the room and returned with another blanket. Without a word, he slid behind her, wrapping his arms — and the blanket — around her body. His chest pressed against her back, his breath warm against her neck.

Ishqi shivered — and not from the cold.

“Tum theek ho?” Ahaan murmured, his lips dangerously close to her ear.

Ishqi turned slightly, her eyes locking with his. “Main toh bilkul perfect hoon…” Her fingers traced the open collar of his shirt, her touch deliberate.

Ahaan’s gaze darkened. “Ishqi…”

“Haan?”

“Tum jaanti ho na... jab tum aisa karti ho toh...”

“Toh kya?” Ishqi teased, tilting her head, daring him to lose control.

Ahaan’s fingers slid beneath the blanket, tracing the curve of her waist, pressing her closer. His lips found the soft skin just below her ear, trailing downward, leaving her breathless.

“Ahaan…” Ishqi whispered, her fingers gripping his shirt tightly.

“Main tumse bhaut pyaar karta hoon,” Ahaan said between kisses, his voice hoarse with emotion.

Ishqi turned fully, cupping his face in her hands. “Mujhe pata hai.” Her lips captured his — slow, lingering, yet searing with intensity.

The fire crackled behind them, but it couldn’t match the fire between them.

The next morning, Ishqi stood by the lake, her hair tangled from the night’s passion. Ahaan walked up behind her, slipping his arms around her waist.

“Phir kya plan hai, Mrs. Malhotra?” he asked.

Ishqi grinned. “Plan yeh hai ki tum aaj sirf meri baat sunoge.”

“Main toh hamesha tumhari baat sunta hoon.”

“Jhoot,” Ishqi laughed, turning in his arms.

“Sach,” Ahaan corrected, pressing a kiss to her forehead. “Tum ho toh meri duniya poori hai.”

Ishqi’s smile softened. “Aur tum ho toh meri duniya perfect hai.”

“Tum mere liye sab kuch ho, Ishqi,” Ahaan said softly.

Ishqi cupped his face again, her eyes shining. “Aur tum mere liye…”

She paused, lips curling into a teasing smile.

“Tum ho toh... tsunami bhi chal jayegi.”

“Pagal,” Ahaan laughed, pulling her closer.

But Ishqi silenced him with another kiss — one that promised more chaos, more passion, and endless love.

Because in their world...

Ishq par kabhi zor nahi tha.
