Ladka ka character is more important than MIL.

Aisa kuch nahi hai. Husband is the most important person in life. Also, Raj is so understanding he is ready to move out of their home without Sonu even asking for it. I don't think anyone needs a better life partner in that regard. He understands the needs of everyone around him. MIL will not stay forever, and you always have an option for moving out.

Many people are subtle about it, if they cant adjust, they make excuses about job, business etc and move to a different city. There are a 1000 ways to get rid of in-laws if your husband listens to you.

I didn't know that he was ready to move out. But generally speaking, MIL won't live forever is not a valid reason, you never know who will be there for how long.

Besides, that lady in the show is too toxic to live a single day with her.

You will find many people like that IRL, IMO its not nice to reject a person just because he has a horrible mother. You have to consider other factors - boy is supportive and loving; also they are rich class people, its not like she has to slog entire day in the kitchen, she will have helpers. She has just has to do "PR" of how nice she is; and she knows cooking etc (normally saare mehnat waale kaam people make maids do).

She will still have a good quality life.
