I agree dear! She is a misogynist and so are her writers. They feel that demeaning someone and verbally assaulting them is okay and they can get away with it. No it's not okay.

Your post has alot of truth and really it should happen provided gul mata wants it...so far none of her shows FL is progressed.all are the same includes ishqi.maybe a petition should be written and send to gul.she needs some sense by her viewers regarding her shows

Well if she does not care about her disgusting attitude to women and usage of bad words on her show ..it’s high time SONY TV stepped in before the ministry of broadcasting finds out because this is insane ..

Well if she does not care about the audience i want to know which INIDAN audience even can tolerate this show ...its just sony and other star channels allowing GUL KHAN TO get away with absolutely horrific bad words and language and women getting slapped around and raped ....I’m now convinced she stands for WHAT AN INDIAN WOMEN SHOULD NOT TOLERATE !!!

Yes, I really agree to it. The amount of toxicity and cruelty towards women on ITV when we already see so much increase in crimes towards women in real life is problematic.

You could use the same plot of a woman being abused and instead of the man getting away with it, show that he faces consequences of his actions, he could be socially ostracized and sent to Jail for his crimes. That's as dramatic as it gets.

But I think we have some reprieve here, as Ishqi's character is still strong and she doesn't believe she has done any wrong, and she hasn't.. Since Ahaan's character is shown as someone who has old school ideas, I'm pretty sure later we will see character development. It won't make sense of them to be paired as he has a lot of growing up to do, and his life is actually built on a web of lies that is waiting to be exposed.

Agreed! But it's Gul's show and we'll still be getting a forced marriage and more insults of Ishqi and I don't think Mayank is going to jail (I really hope he does.)

Ishqi is being emotionally and verbally abused and then they'll show her being mahaan by forgiving them. That's not done. I stopped watching show from this week. I don't think I will start again anytime soon. Might not at all.
