TBH, I don't watch Gul's shows post 2-3 months, they all loose their charm. Ishqaan had me hooked and now it's gone too. 🥺

The producers of this willy nilly story r exactly like ektaa kapoor..each steps she is following her..and very disturbed, frustrating to c those sensitive and important issues on the national tv..how they even come up this insane track?😡 y Sony even allowed this ?

Sonu and ishki r the media dependent girls but simple common sense they dont have abt the social media..

Sonu has gathered some courage and confided in Raj. I really believe he would have supported her, along with Kartik (who almost knew) and Ahaan would have been in a dilemma but end up supporting his dear sister.

I would love to see dadi and Sarla aunty depicting the society and blaming the girl only to be shut up by Raj, Kartik n Ahaan, the holy trinity. Chachi n chacha also coming out in her support after some initial hesitation.

Suman aunty proud of Ishqi for standing up against crime and speaking against her not-so-great son.

This unnecessary drama has a major impact : one, this happens quite commons to many girls (and boys too). They watch the show and if Sonu would speak up, it would give them some much-needed courage to share it with their friends/parents and know that they would be supported and not be blamed.

We need this positivity in our life. When this show tries to be so progressive, why not show this.

We would still get a very high-voltage drama as Sarla aunty and daadi blaming Sonu and Raj, Kartik, Ahaan defending her!

Second, sending Mayank to jail would give hope to many victims to speak up against the abuses faced by them.

Somewhere this needs to start. Especially on a channel that shows Crime Patrol and CID all the time.

Also, the actor portraying Sonu getting threats on social media just shows why we need to see this change on ITV. They could even show this angle, cyber crime police tackling the haters when Sonu/Ishqi try to go online and share their problems with others.

Well said. I don't watch regularly, just in passing and have noticed the trivializing too. This is just bad writing that exploits a sensitive and important issue. Unfortunately this leaves the injustices of the issue unchanged and unchallenged.

I watched today after many days and am super upset by the sadism against Ishqi. This is another fatal flaw with Hindi soaps. They think a cruel hero is romantic? That this makes the love story angsty? Nope. This is hideous. This is wrong. It romanticizes potential domestic violence. Cruelty is not sexy.

WHY BLAME THE HERO ..AND NOT ALL SERILS ARE LIKE THAT ITS BASICALLY EKTA AND GUL KHAN SHOWS ...EVEN EKTA IS GETTING BETTER ...BUT GUL KHAN NO RESPIUE ...ON AND ON ..YESTERDAY THE MOST HORRIBLE WORD ANYONE CAN SAY AGAINST AWOMEN WAS SAID BY SARLA JI ..LUCHI ...GOODNESS GUL HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND ...DO U HATE WOMEN THIS MUCH ...OR DO U NOT KNOW WHAT YOUR SCRIPT WRITERS ARE DOING ???

Ikr!! They try to make an enemies to lovers trope but don't understand that once you've done something so cruel, the other person might not even want to be near you, forget falling in love BS.

The fact that domestic violence is such a common phenomenon across India and World, these shows barely do anything to portray how wrong and criminal it actually is. Even marital rape.

STOP GLORYFYING AND ROMANTICISING CRIMES.
