Where do we even begin to describe the madness that just followed! RCB have chased down their highest-ever total in IPL history with 8 balls to spare. This after LSG made 227 and set them a stiff target. This after they were looking down and out when Kohli found long-off to leave them with still 105 to make in 52 balls. Enter Jitesh Sharma and the rest is history. He played out of his skin and led from the front to make a 33-ball 85. Got a stroke of luck when he was caught off a no-ball but by then he had done real damage. Not to forget the contribution from Mayank Agarawal. He flopped last game and must have been under extreme pressure in such a crunch game. But he showed his experience and unfurled delightful boundaries first with Kohli and then played second-fiddle and was there with Jitesh to see RCB home. LSG were let down by their sloppy fielding with a numbe of fumbles and general tardiness. But take nothing away from Jitesh''s knock - he came to the party at just the right time and played the knock of his life. Far too often in the past RCB have choked in pressure situations and in similar scenarios but not tonight. LSG had little to play for tonight but RCB had everything to do if they are to get two chances to go to the final and boy did they grab it or what. Stay tuned for the post-match stuff...

We knew Digvesh had one over. So we were like, if we could get 10 off him. The wicket was good to target the fast bowlers. Jitesh just did what he had to. Rishabh Pant | LSG captain: Eventually you got to play 40 overs of good cricket. 20 overs will definitely not save you in a T20 game and that's been our story. There were a lot of injury concerns before the tournament, that's something that hurt us going through the season. (On his hundred) I was feeling well with each and every match but sometimes it just doesn't come off. Today I made sure that if I am starting well I should make a big one. Like all the experienced players do, learning from the best always. Whenever you get a start, try to make it big as possible. I was trying to play the field, how they were going to bowl, that was something I kept in mind. Playing through the line and looking for the areas and the gaps and kept it very simple. Played every ball with the same intensity and kept on playing with the same intensity throughout the innings. (On this season) There'll be a lot of areas where we'll be talking and looking to improve ourselves but the season is just ending, don't know where the talk is going to go. Just want to switch off for a few days, not think about cricket and then the England series is coming up and just preparing for that in a good frame of mind. (On the positives) The way our batting unit has come up, there have been some special bowling performance also. Digvesh Rathi is one of them, Avesh bowled some crucial overs. We've been getting chances but we weren't able to maintain it for a longer period of time.
