Dhoni steps down as CSK captain

MS Dhoni has decided to hand over the leadership of Chennai Super Kings and picked Ravindra Jadeja to lead the team. Jadeja, who has been an integral part of Chennai Super Kings since 2012, will only be the third player to lead CSK. Dhoni will continue to represent Chennai Super Kings this season and beyond.

CSK is Dhoni everything is done according to him.

So yes he can take division.

It is already cleared that Dhoni has decided last season itself and Jaddu too had the idea about it.

People from Franchise cleared that this was sort of decided last season itself.

Also Jaddu was the 1st retention for the team so it was not a sudden decision when most probably this would be Dhoni's 2nd last season.
