Sonarika is a superb actress.

SRJ is like Lord Krishna giving his gyaans dressed up as Lord Shiva.😕😆

He is my pet peeve too.

Plus Lord Shiva and Parvati relationship in this show is more akin to Krishna and Draupadi relationship than anything else

Yes the trp was 8.4/8.6

It made life ok enter the list of top 5 channels that week

It was one fantastic episode

SIDT effect again made me so frustrated that I feared I may get confused on seeing this distorted version of Kali's story. So I took resort to writing Devi mahatmyam in brief to remind myself that What I read many times,heard from my grand mother stays put in my mind. I did the same when I watched Suryaputr Karn.

So in my thread" Who is Mahakali" I started the story. That is my way of relieving myself of my desperation,frustration and anger on seeing the creative brilliance of Utkarsh Nathani in association with SIDT.

That's why I decided to watch this show on Voot.

So that I can fast forward his scenes whenever SRJ's Mahadev acting gets on my nerves

Read the responses on the Buzz article on Mahakali. Most of them felt SRJ did not suit the role of Mahadev. Every one praised Puja. I also vented out my frustration by posting my take. What we all can feel why can't SIDT feel I wonder. From which angle he found SRJ look like Shiv? Luna must be right in saying this show is to promote SRJ who is branded as Vishnu or Krishna.

But leave alone doing good,this attempt of being Mahadev is working against him and his credibility as a good actor. Sometimes I feel bad for such a nice actor...why should he try to be in Mohit's shoes?

^that's true, lakshmi. I loved SRJ as Vishnu/Krishna. But he is a complete misfit for Shiv's role.

If he wants to get out of the Vishnu/Krishna image he should try out of mythological genre.

He will do exceptionally well there. But if he keeps trying different roles in mytho then people will keep searching for the essence of Krishna in each of his roles. And the way he delivers his dialogues in Mahakaali doesn't really give the feel of ShivJi.

If SIDT wished to help SRJ he should have made Mahabhagawat showing the ten incarnations stressing more on Krishna's life story. That would have worked so well. Whenever my mother happens to see SRJ as Vishnu or Krishna she will fold her hands and say...He Govind Raksha mam.

That is the effect of his brand image. So suddenly if he holds Trishul and come on screen it is too difficult even for his loyal fans to connect.
