I read it.. but if Karna's character was edited, other characters might be edited too. If we see it that way then everyone keeps on adding things they feel like in the epic. For example. the story of Vyasa dictating MB to ganesha cannot be the part of actual mb as that was Later Vedic Age. How can Ganesha be there if it was Vedic Age where the gods were Vayu, Indra, Varun etc.
Mahabharata is an epic of more than 10000 verses and shlokas so if we see every line then we may find many things amusing. This is what I believe atleast.
Nevertheless, even if Karna never said anything to Draupadi, even if we accept that, then also he is not the kind of person I would admire. We will have to disagree here. 😊 Your explanation was good in the post you gave the link of though.

As for the history change theory, I would like to remind you all that Vyas Dev was still alive after war, so why would he allow someone to edit his work? At least Pandavas did not change it. They died before Vyas.
Also, what was Krishna doing if Pandavas 'changed' it? He would have stopped them from doing so.
And I'm 100% sure that if Yudhi had indeed edited the story then he would have glorified Karna even more. And there would have been no dice game in the story.

I understand that we are not allowed to discuss Dharmakshetra here, as some the posts are perceived to be at cross purposes with the aims of this particular forum.
So my last post in this thread!!

Finally saw the missed part of yest epi...it was Dury's birth drama that I had missed. 😊 I liked what Krishna said...that you were right not to abandon your son, but you could have changed his niyati but did not do so.

I consider Dhrit the most responsible for the MB war...he was one who had power to order his sons as a king but refused to do so and always took refuge behind "mere saath anyay hua hai". Whatever others did, they did it because they were convinced they were right (even if they were not) but Dhrit knew he was doing wrong, yet refused to correct himself.
