The difference between the Ps and Ks IMO is that the former paid for DS during the exile and repented, while the latter insisted that they were right and paid for that with their blood.
During that death bed statement of Dury's why was he being showered with accolades from the heavens if he was a bad king? The devas have to show some consistency in their reactions, no? That too, after he maligned Krishna?

All brothers lusted Draupadi, I agree. Yudhi shared her with others because he alone was incapable of capturing the lost kingdom & he never wanted an internal clash among brothers. wasn't that arjuna who got ready to kill yudhi when he insulted Ju for being incapable of killing Karna...??? Yudhi never wanted such situations to arise...

And asking Arjuna to marry Draupadi was actually tricky. Arjuna innocently said he could not be a sinner by marrying when his elder brother stays unmarried. That did not mean Arjuna gave his consent for Yudhi to marry Draupadi. He only meant that he would not marry Draupadi when Yudhi was unmarried. Yudhi could marry some other woman, then Arjuna could marry Draupadi. But Yudhi all of a sudden used that opportunity to announce his own marriage with Draupadi which actually gave a little shock to Yudhi himself because he was going to marry a woman won by his younger brother, a woman who was desired equally by all brothers. So he decided to divide her to keep them all united.
What a family was that which got united by dividing a woman?
I do not see love anywhere in this. Even when Drupada asked for only Yudhi to get married to Draupadi, he refused because he needed throne getting which was possible only when all 5 brothers stood together.
Hence everyone enjoyed same woman...did not even need to ask that woman at least once what she wanted for herself...

Innovative ideas...are there any more like this...?

Such an explosive debate is taking place n I was away all this while!! 😭

Jamy...thanks for joining us here... 😊

One question has been bothering me...and it could be due to my lack of knowledge in the matter...

In the dice game, we only see Yudisthir staking one person after another...
Where are Duryodhan's counter stakes?
Or is it that only the person losing had to go on staking while the other side need not stake anything?
I am totally confused about about this part...
Could someone pls clear this confusion? 😕

There were no counter offers when Yudisthira started staking his brothers, there were counter offers when wealth was concerned but Yudhi was so intoxicated in gambling that he kept on staking his brother one by one without even asking Duryodhana to wager his stake.

Ok...thanks...
But how can that be?
Doesnt it sound weird that a man went on staking like an idiot one human after another, without any counter stakes?
I am not accustomed with gambling...n am not sure about the rules...
But shouldnt both sides stake together to move the game forward? 😕

Gambling addiction is a terrible disease. It destroys families. Even non addcits can get caught up in a winning streak or can get desperate enough in a losing streak to destroy their families.

I have gambled with penny stakes 😆 (Am too cheap for anything more). If you lost something and stake something else, the other side can stake what you lost before. It doesn't have to be equal, just acceptable.

For ex, after Yudhi lost Nakul, he can stake Sahdev but Dury can stake Nakul
