I haven't yet gone through first 22 pages of this thread and haven't found time to read and discuss what is being discussed here and has been discussed over here but I just step in to write down my most favourite episodes out of 50 story episodes (all watched) 3rd episode onwards (I loved the first two introductory episodes also providing the background and setting up the theme of presenting the knowledge).

My favourite episodes in the order of number sequence are:

Episodes 4 (Ashtavakra), 5 & 6 (Darashikoh), 10 (Arth - Kautilya), 12 (Moksha - Kotikarna), 13 (Brahmacharya - Satyakam), 14 (Grihasthaashram - Magh Kavi 😃), 18 (Varna - Chandragupt), 25 (24 teachers of Avdhoot), 26 (Indra & Virochan), 27 (Yaksha prashna to Yudhishthir), 28 (Savitri), 33 (Camel's rope 😃 😆), 35 (3 questions), 40 (Srishti - Varah Mihir), 44 (Vasnas - Eknath), 46 (Antarang Sadhana - Keshidhwaj & Khandigya), 49 (Gyanyog - Sadashiv Brahmendra), 51 (Moksha/Jeevan Mukt - Paravailla Swami).

My favourite actors in the series are K K Raina (excellent versatility and expressions), Abhimanyu Sinh (best command over Hindi and Sanskrit & clarity of pronunciation), Zakir Hussain, Ravi Khanvilkar, Gagan Malik.

K K Raina was already my favourite actor because of the film Ek ruka hua faisla and TV series Byomkesh Bakshi. But this serial has given him great opportunity to discover the heights of his talent and I just love every character and episode in which he is acting.

I have also just edited my post in the thread of Introduction of Members after completing all the episodes of this show.

Hai Welcome to UG AT🤗OMG you watched all the episodes!!!👏

Hai Welcome to UG AT🤗OMG you watched all the episodes!!!👏

Thank you.😊 Yes I came to know about the show and started watching the episodes only last week from Youtube during night times and break times in between my lectures and completed the series just yesterday. On an average 8-10 episodes everyday. BTW just edited my previous post by adding some critic view also. But those are only a few observations against totally overwhelming experience of watching this powerful and knowledge giving show. My couple of students are also going to see this show very soon.😊

Ok I'll check your previous post again.😊Hey are you a lecturer?I'm afraid of lecturers!!😆

OMG 8-10 episodes per day!!I could watch only 2 episodes in 8-10 days. You look well versed in Upanishad Bhasha.I'm trying very hard to understand some concepts. They are all new for me.🤔

Anyways plz come regularly and join with us in the discussion.I'm interested in learning from my fellow members.😳

Lol. Don't worry. I am a very very friendly and liberal teacher.😆

OMG 8-10 episodes per day!!I could watch only 2 episodes in 8-10 days.
My current schedule is 8 to 12 and 2 to 6 lectures (8 hours a day and classes at home only so no travelling time) and students stay until 8 pm (2 hours extra on an average). So I had 12 to 2 lunch break time and time 8 pm onwards upto 1 am or 2 am until going to bed. Due to my involvement in the episodes, my average sleep was 5-6 hours perhaps for last 5-6 days and basically I was either in the lecture or watching the videos when not in the lecture (even while taking lunch and dinner) so it was possible to watch 8-10 episodes of 25 minutes.

You look well versed in Upanishad Bhasha.I'm trying very hard to understand some concepts. They are all new for me.🤔
Well I can't say I am well versed in Upanishad bhasha to be honest but I am familiar and comfortable with both Sanskrit pronunciation and Sandhi vichchhed (Very primary level of spoken language) and Shuddh Hindi ever since my primary school days (or even before perhaps) so for me it was very natural to watch episode after episode normally (as natural as watching a cricket match) and having read Geeta and having deeply enjoyed & discussed RS Ramayan and BRC MB, concepts were also all known and familiar but only some stories were new so I was very quick and curious to go through all of them.

Anyways plz come regularly and join with us in the discussion.I'm interested in learning from my fellow members.😳
I will try and would love to. I will try first to go through first 20 pages of the thread if posts are not too long and can visit the thread daily or once-twice in a week if it is not moving too fast for my comfort since my schedule is very hectic. And I am not naturally good at initiating any topic of talk but naturally good to respond to any specific or targeted question or to argue in a debate.😆

😊My pleasure to join knowledgeable devotees all who are here. I have completed all 22 pages of the thread and hats off to your Sanskrit interest and research. I read Geeta at the age of 19, watched BRC MB and RS Shri Krishna upto Dwarikanirman episode 3-4 years ago and have been watching RS Ramayan 100s of times since I was only 5 years old when it was originally aired. Also let me clarify that the episodes which I have not listed above are also enjoyed by me. I have loved all of them but I just picked some of them which I enjoyed more than the others for different reasons. I have also identified some others which can be put in my favourite category after watching and enjoying them again and after discussing with them and knowing the reasons of liking by others here. And regarding the music and male playback in the serial, it is of Alap Desai who visited our house last year (but we didn't have talk regarding this serial) and we have collection of our own compiled bhajans sung by him. I could easily identify his voice in the title because I was completely engrossed in one of the classical bhajans he sang right in front of me a few meters away with surround sound effect (Which I listened to again and again in my laptop and recited). He is young and energetic singer and very down to earth polite person.

[QUOTE=ShivangBuch]Lola. Jay SiyaRam. Jay RadheShyam.🤗 Hello everyone.

I had awesome experience of watching this series thanks to Debi di and the show is right there among top of the tops because of its unique & interesting style of presentation of stories (Drama plot) and coverage of stories of different ages to explain effective deep spiritual knowledge of Upanishad and total coverage of spiritual concepts. As Lola said, Hindi is pure except the use of Urdu in the episodes 5 & 6 (However I think the use of the word SHAYAD is a bit too much everywhere and disturbing for me whenever it is there - far more used than RS Ramayan when they had 2-2 options of Kadachit and Sambhavatah). Apart from the frequent use of the word 'Shayad', the only thing which could have been taken care of in the show I feel is that the same characters should have been given to same actors in every story (For example, Narad and Yagnavalkya are played by too many different people along with Indra and Pandavas - it's fine if different actors are used for depicting different ages but that's not always the case. Consistency of casting for the same roles would have made the scope of enjoying this serial much more wider because of our set mind for one actor for one character). Another critic observation of mine is Shukracharya's single eye (both in Kach-Devayani episode and Virochan-Indra episode). Both the events are ahead in chronology of Bali's meeting with Vaaman avataar. But Shukracharya is shown with only one eye in the stories before that.

About Avatar...
We all both living and non-living are the manifestations of lord but we donot consider ourselves as an 'Avatar' coz we never realized that we are an avatar of god unlike Shri Ram,Maa Sita ,Shri Krishna,Vyasa, sages, yogis etc.Avatar refers to a soul freed from maya (delusion) and comes by the will of God back into manifested existence to help others. It is noway different from the one and only eternal god and has all the above mentioned traits.A soul awake in omnipresent Spirit loses his delusive nightmares of births and deaths. This makes a perfect avatar.Traditionally, the word avatar is sometimes limited to few incarnations. But if we go through the scriptures,we can find some references.

Eg."Vyasaya Vishnu roopaya Vyasa roopaya Vishnave!!",. which means, Veda Vyasa is none other than, Lord Vishnu himself.

Thank you so much for sharing sruja ji 😃.

Thank you ShubsMayur.. (By which name I can address you and others here?)

Just sharing the experience of today.

I was just scanning through the episodes very fast to identify the voices of the singers. I found that Meerabai's songs are sung by Hema Desai (Alap Desai's mother) and the song 'Ja ke priya na Ram Vaidehi' is sung by Shri Asit Desai (Alap Desai's father). All three of them came to our house last December and we have recorded many classical Bhajans of our book in their voices. This last part of Meerabai's episode was very touchy (though the lines were known to me but the voice and the fact that the singer now is our personally known person made it more enjoyable). I wonder why did they not make publicity in front of our guests of this serial???😕 And now I think all the songs which I heard while watching the entire series must be in their voice only (Even Soordas sanskaar sequence too) but I didn't notice that carefully watching for the first time. Then I was scanning through the ending part of Karm Yog episode of Sant Haridas. Haridas's voice is of father (Asit Desai) and Tansen's voice is of the son (Alap Desai) in the Bhajan 'Harinam aalas kyun karat hai?'. I got tears in my eyes along with Akabar towards the end of that scene. I didn't add this episode in my favourite list because large part of it was filled with songs and Tansen's young age informative history only but this ending part is too powerful to exclude it from the favourites. Similarly the Letter correspondence between Meera and Tulsidas. Tulsidas explaining Todermal about need of writing Ramayan (Lola's favourite). Ramdas's ending part in Bhaktiyog episode when Ram-Lakshman comes to pay the bail money. Antim Sanskar of Soordas. These little little moments of 25 minutes are very powerful to put me in dilemma. I have included Episode 48 in my favourite list because it made me caught in front of my students' eyes😉😆. One of my students forced me to make her watch that scene along with me and watched it. Other couple asked me why my eyes were wet whether I am really crying or what happened. I said nothing.😊
