Janu, clear the confusions abt the foster Fathers. I m very sure that Kesari was not the foster father of Hanumanji. He was his real biological father! He is just called pawan putra because Kesari and Anjani were blessed and booned by pawan dev to have a son like him, and so hanumanji acquired the qualities of Pawan dev since the birth!

Ok now, if maharaja Aniranya is the correct answer then here is my next Question!

Who was the wife of Indrajeet/Meghnaath?

Pawan was the father of Hanuman the way he was of bheem

Ohh Yes I have figured that our :) nandini is such a cute name ❤️ I love it since "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam" 😉

BTW the boon of son was given to Anjana by Shiva not Pawan

Anjana invoked Pawan dev for a son like him

So Pavan Putra

But Kesri was Anjana's husband hence his real father

Exactly that is what I m saying. Kesari and Anjani were his real biological parents.

No they r blessed and booned by both Shive and Pawan Dev. Actualy These two were not having any Son for very long, so anjani Prayed Lord shiva for a Son. Lord Shiva became happy and blessed her that he himself will come on the earth as her son and that avatar of him will be his 11th Rudra but for that she has to pray Pawan Dev.

Anjani and Kesari together have done hard penance of Pawan dev which finally pleased him and he blessed them to have a Son like him.

This is the actual thing and this is the reason why he is called Paan Putra :)
