|| Ramanand Sagar's Shri Krishna ||

Bhavna Jaisi Rahi Jinke Mann, Prabhu Murati Tin Taisi Nihaari
This is the scene where Krishna and Balram enter the yagna saala of Kans's palace and everyone gathered there sees Shri Krishna in various forms according to their heart and personality. The elderly ladies see him as Bal Krishna, the warriors see him as a warrior, the young ladies see him as Kaam Dev, the religious folk see him as Shri Narayan, and Kans sees him as Yama Dev. Love this part before Kans Vadh! It supports the fact that we all see the Lord how we perceive him, whether it be in a positive or negative way.😍

Thanks for the pics, Loli! I really love this one, both Deeps and Anjali look adorable!😍
Hehe, I also would like to discuss the costumes, why don't you open the thread?😛

In terms of Agni Pariksha, I don't mind either version as whether the real Sita Ma was abducted or not, there was no question about Ram knowing of his divinity. There are interesting factors about both versions as per my interpretation, it's just that the Chhaya Sita concept was inconsistent with the rest of the show that was the problem...I wouldn't have minded had RSji showed Ram knowing of his divinity from the very beginning itself, that would have brought an even more divine twist to the serial.Day Dreaming Either way though, the scene itself was handled well so I have no complaints.😉
🤣 @ average joes sticking out a toe and turning a stone into a woman. Good God, that's another excellent point. That's why, even in VR I feel Ramji did know of his identity...he just hid it. I mean, come on, average men do not perform such miracles.😆
Thanks for the vid! I just made some avis of the MB scene where Bheem tries to lift Hanuman's tale, I just loooove that scene so much, both because the story has always been one of my favorites and I love how BRC used Dara Singh as Hanuman, but I'm playing around with the coloring with Aishu's help, so if I achieve anything, will post them.😛
Thanks for all the edited out pics, I esp heart the sisters scene as it was soooooooooooooo adorably cute and short that I have nooooo clue why the editors took it out!Angry They made it seem like Mandavi and Shrutakirti lived in Mithila all along the way they just popped out of nowhere in the DVDs.

First of all thanks a ton for the extremely devotional and awe-inspiring SK pics, LOVE that scene 😍 Swapnil as Yamraj is too hilarious, they totally stole that handlebar mustache from Tom Selleck 😆 All the extras in the scene have just the right expressions though, really well done in every way.

And second, yessss the costume thread is def happening over spring break... among so many other things 😆

And third...

I know objectively speaking the inconsistency of the Chhaaya Sita revelation is not a good fit for the plot, and even emotionally it takes away from all of the sad SiyaRam separation moments we saw like the jewels from Sugreev scene you posted a few pages back... but I still feel best thinking about it that way cuz of how it empowers Sita Maa by assuring use she could never have been abducted against her will, and more importantly because it gives another layer of meaning to this one dialogue that makes me cringe - you know when she's getting Shri Ram ready for the deer chase, and he asks her "what if I don't get my hands on it alive, what should I do?" Her reply is "even then, its skin is so beautiful that it'll make a great prayer mat for you" 🤢 Thought that line is straight from RCM, I HATE it for its violence that so doesn't suit the Sita Maa we know and love... so by giving it the context of Chhaaya Sita, it can be interpreted in so many other ways instead of the literal sense (if she knows the plan then she knows it's Mareech and this is just their inside joke about how they're trickier than the trickster, and there could even be some spiritual symbolism about overcoming maya in general)... so yeah, that's my reason and that's my rant 😆

Yayyy, I love that scene too! The whole vanvaas and agyaat vaas of the Pandavs were really well done by BRC, among the few epis I watch over and over. Particularly the grain of rice thing to shoo Durvasa away... love it 😍

Most welcome hun!!! Yeah, seeing all the sisters giggle together was too cute adn editing it out did nothing to shorten the dvds since it was hardly a minute long 😕

This scene takes place right after the Bhavna Jaisi song, where Kans sarcastically praises Krishna's victory over Kuvalayapeeda and challenges him to fight with his wrestlers, including the strong and invincible Mushtik. When Krishna desists at first, claiming that it is an 'unfair' fight (who in their right mind would challenge Vishnu and Shesh Naag themselves?😆), Chanoor mocks him and Balram for being cowardly cowherds and loudly proclaims that they probably only display their valour in front of their Gokul women, and to summon those women if that is what it will take for them to fight Mushtik and the other wrestlers. Balram gets into a rage at Chanoor's insults but Krishna contains him. He then accepts Kans's challenge.

I looooved this scene, as I was torn between laughing at Krishna's quirky expressions and rolling my eyes at Chanoor's idiocy.😆😆 The dialogue especially, coming from all the characters, was sooo perfect and interesting, it's a really interesting episode.👏

But I swear, this pic is the highlight of my update! I did not even realize I caught such an expression of Kans till I posted it.....doesn't he look like the typical 'roaring with laughter' affectionate Mamaji?🤣 Oh Godddd, this pic is sooo contradictory with his character!😡😆

Here are some pics now of Krishna and Jarasandh's 2nd battle. It takes place after the scene where Dhritarastra refuses to help Mathura, and Krishna assures noble Akrur that they will be fine without Hastinapur's assistance.
The song which comes during this scene also describes the other 14 battles that Krishna and Jarasandh fought, as the latter attacked Mathura 17 times in total and got defeated by Krishna and Balram each and every time.
