^ I really loved the warrior poses of Swapnil, he acted really well in the Jarasandh episodes that you could really see the improvement in him if you compare it with his first episode in SK.👏 The RadheKrishna episodes were great too, but I really liked Swapnil as Krishna during the episodes centering his political victories over Kans, Jarasnadh, and Kalyavan. You could tell he felt more comfortable doing warrior scenes than lovey dovey scenes, as in the latter, he sometimes had that forced and awkward smile whereas in the fighting scenes, he seemed at ease and the teasing looks he threw the rakshas did not seem forced.
Anyone agree with me or am I ranting?😆

Hehe, glad you agree with me, I can see the battle scenes over and over, even Sanjeev Sharma (Balram) was amazing.😍

Well, we don't know that actually, because VR has quite a few lines in it that describe Ram and Lakshman hunting deer during their vanvaas, and also that Ramji offered his prayers every morning on deer skin. Even though it does make us cringe, I guess we have to keep in mind that Ram, Lakshman, and Sita took birth in Kshatriya families and so it was not wrong for them to hunt deer and use its skin. I guess we consider Ram, Lakshman, and Sita to be soft and gentle to the point that we connect them with Yogis, but they took birth as humans to teach us the ideal way of living, and in doing so they also displayed Kshatriya Dharma....I guess that's why that line does not make me cringe so much. I just take it as a line any Kshatriya would say. Again, objectively I know it makes perfect sense for her to say that as it was a common feature of kshatriya culture... after all it was while hunting that Dashrath accidentally killed Shravan Kumar and Parikshit came into contact with Kaliyug... but then again, at the time kshatriyas were also marrying dozens of women at once and Shri Ram was was different... so for my own satisfaction I like to think that even in this matter, he was different 😳😆
I know, I also really love the part where Dharmaraj tests Yudhisthir by creating the maya of his brothers dying, sooo meaningful.😍 And I know you did not like the actor who played Yudhisthir in MB, but I liked him and felt that scene was his best.😳😆

Agreed, that scene is really amazing and has so many great messages 👏 And Gajendra Chauhan did well in it... it's not that I totally don't like him, but compared to the other 4 Pandavs - even Nakul and Sahdev in their one word per every 5 episodes - he lacked that fire and conviction, I think. Didn't sound as in character since his voice modulation never changed. I did like him when he was trying not to break the news about Abhimanyu to Arjun... that was really heartwrenching 😭
And all this MB talk reminds me, when you get a chance can you please take pics of the scene right before Shishupal is killed, when Bhishma announces that only Krishna is worthy of the Agra Pooja to conclude Yudhisthir's Yagna and the brothers get together and worship him... that song is hauntingly beautiful, one of my favorites in MB 😍
Exactly! From what I saw of dailymotion, SK editors did that a lot too....I really don't understand why they took out such short 1 min scenes....to achieve what?😕
Rofl they went a step 'ahead' with SK, those genius editors... for God only knows what reason, they rearranged verses in the songs 😕😆 Listen to the Holi song on dailymotion and then on your dvds... it's insane

Onto the pic updates... THANK you sooooooooooooooooo much, again with some of my favorite Swapnil scenes 😍 The arguments they have really are interesting, that political flair in many of SK's dialogues is pretty awesome... also like seeing how Akrur tries to intervene in spite of knowing Shri Krishna's identity by then, it's a great illustration about how Yogmaya plays around with these devotees to keep them engaged in the leela to their full potential... to think that he was going to protect the protector, too sweet ❤️ And lolz @ the jolly Kans Mama pic, you're so right... good catch 😆 That would make for one heck of a confusing siggie, smiley Kans and smiley Kanha 😕😆 I really liked this pic too, from that set... it puts their contrasting personalities on display so perfectly... in fact, I think it would make a great combo siggie with a pic of Ram admonishing Lakshman for thinking ill of Dashrath right before their vanvaas or of Bharat right before Bharat milaap, whaddaya say 😛:

@ Vedo - most welcome for the pics hun, can't wait to see what wonders you work with them 😃

@ Janu - yessss, I do agree with you about Swapnil being extra confident and charming in his political strategist and warrior avatars... but I don't think it has as much to do with his discomfort in romantic scenes as it does with his discomfort putting on that cheesy smile you mentioned 🤣 Reminds me of when the photographers came to take graduation pics in our senior year of high school, they kept telling us how to smile... "bigger, no - BiGgEr, no - BIGGER!" and we're like, dammit we don't smile like that! But they wouldn't listen and we ended up looking like this:

@Lola,
Lols, I agree, I too would like to think Ram did not hunt like other Kshatriyas, but who knows? We have the liberty to assume what we wish, because in the end of the day....whatever version you believe in makes no difference as long as the bhakti remains sincere and heartfelt.😊
Hehe, I agree, compared to the other brothers GC (Gajendra Chauhan, not Gurmeet Choudhary😆....ther initials are the same!) was not the best. I personally loved Arjun and the guy who played Bheem, totally fit their roles!👏 And sure, will do that pic update soon, it'll be on my list.
Haiii, I know what you mean, SK DVD editors are a whole different story, let's not get that discussion started here or we'll be breaking Deeps' rule about irrelevant chatting.😆
And you're very welconme for the Krishna pic updates, I also loved how Akrur continuously displays worry for Krishna and Balram despite knowing of their identities, it's like how Hanuman was concerned for Lakshman during the Meghnaad Yudh despite knowing he was Sesh Naag...devotees cannot help but worry about even God, who is the protector of God.😍 And I love your siggie idea! Let's both make one and see how it turns out.😛
OMG, I'm 🤣 at your last post, what a perFECt way to put it. It's probably true, as the RadhaKrishna scenes weren't intimate or anything (God forbid that happens in the future🤪) for him to feel discomfort, and Krishna's smile was different from that of Kush's in Ramayan, so it prob took some time for Swapnil to adjust to the transition....also, RadhaKrishna scenes began from his very first episode, so there was no time for him to practice beforehand with some family scenes perhaps.😆

Hey Guys,
Here are the AS Ramayan Uttar Kand pics I promised several page back...I had them saved in my computer and found them today....so posting them before I forget.😳
This one's from the sweet scene when Luv Kush are born and Ramji gets an indication through a flower which falls into Kaushalya Ma's hands while she is praying. He takes the flower to a window of his chamber and becomes wistful. It's a great siggyable scene and really makes you tear up.👏😭

This scene occurs sometime shortly later during the naming ceremony of Lakshman, Bharat, and Shatrughan's children. Kaushlya Ma imagines Ram and Sita together with their children and blesses them. She tears up when she realizes that it was only her imagination.

Agreed about both Bhim and Arjun in BRC, one glimpse at the latter's emotions during the last epi while watching that "making of" vid on youtube is proof enough of how deeply involved he was with the role 👏

And yessss, we will totally do that matching RamLakhan-ShyamBalram siggie with angry bro, calm bro pics together, I'm in ⭐️

Anddddd thank you sooooo much for the awesome AS pics, Debi really really hit her stride during the Uttar Kand epis 👏 She has such a beautiful affectionate expression in the last pic, will have to siggify soon!
