There's that, and the music's really sweet and simple and happy, and despite the ultra-fake background right before Tadka is shown with the footprint wallpaper, you somehow get engrossed and feel like they are in fact on a journey and you're right there with them!
And I agree abot the King's duty dialogue....would make a superb discussion, esp since there are def parallels between Dashrath and Ugrasena from Ramayan and SK, cools, will start putting that together soon as I get a couple of posts in the oaths and promises thread... and I love how Kaikeyi was worried about Ram and Lakshman when neither was her biological son, she was truly an ideal step mom before the whole Manthara fiasco.😍 Oops! Sorry, I know you don't like it when I refer to the Rajmatas as stepmothers, but you know what I mean.😳

Lol I don't really take it personally, no worries 😆 But I'd like to think that the dynamic back then wasn't like that - family was family, period. After all they say that virtues depleted with each yuga (you know, the Bhagvat story about Parikshit seeing the bull with the missing legs symbolizing each one)... so during Treta they were still almost all intact, this kind of over-differentiation between people hadn't really kicked in yet.

And yes, I do like Arun during the Mareech-Subahu fight, but I have a problem with the wig they gave him in that scene, it looks so frizzy and unkempt, and it made it seem like he had a long face.🤔😆

Lol then again maybe it didn't start that way but got like that after repeatedly swinging his arm in the air take after take to make the bow and arrow biz look real 😆

I took a bunch of pic updates today, the post-Tataka Vadh, pre-Ahalya (where you wanted some pics of her pretty face up close), the trio going to Mithila and being greeted by Janak, SUMS discussion about the princes, and....some others I do not remember. Basically, all of them are from DVD 2.😆

And btw, I took the food scene too and re-posted it on Pg. 1 instead of wasting another post....do check it out. But I'm soooo angry at myself because I could not take the same cute poses of Lakshman as last time.😡 I did get other good shots, but that one pic where he has his mouth wide open....I couldn't get it again.😔 And the pics of Bharat are kind of blurry, but then, his head was moving around so much I could do nothing about it.😆

Lol the one you sent me recently for my request from Rachna is still intact cuz you put it on imgur... and I pm'd her in case she saved the others (which included the Lakshman one you just described) to her computer so if she did, we're safe!! They also included the Kaikeyi and Sumitra together shots from the spa treatment scene right after.

Lols, you're right....Sunil is darker than Ram....you know, I heard that when Arun went to try out for Ram, he was offerred the role of Lakshman but had denied it saying that he would play Ram or nothing else, quite stubborn, na?😆 So RSji decided that he could mould Arun into Ram with some work, because he did not want to lose him from the team.

Lol thank God he was that stubborn, I can't imagine it any other way 😆 If he was Lakshman, who would Sunil be 😕

And I siggyfied the SUMS scene, but will post once I get some others done as well.
