Greek mythology

I was a king of Thebes (Greece, not Egypt)

As prophecied, I killed my father, and went on to marry my mother. From her, I had 2 sons & 2 daughters

I answered a riddle asked by the Sphinx, causing him to die, and liberated Thebes (which previously wasn't mine) from his tyranny

I blinded myself after my mother/wife commited suicide, and was guided by one of my daughters for the rest of my life.
