(For those wondering, he, Akrur & Satadhanwa were all suitors of Satyabhama, but were angry w/ Satrajit for giving her in marriage to Krishna. So in the absence of Krishna & Balarama, they plotted, although Kritavarma was neither the murderer, nor the keeper of the jewel.

And of course, as is well known, he was one of the 3 survivors of the war, besides Ashwathama & Kripa, & was one of the 3 who massacred the Pandava army the night of Duryodhan's death.

Also, Krishna & Rukmini had a daughter Charumati who was married to Kritavarma's son Bali)

^ I think anyone can post the question, Vrish...we lost count of who got it right.😆 So go ahead and post the next clues.

But I have a doubt....Akrur also plotted against Krishna for marrying Satyabhama?? But I thought Akrur was one of those Maha Gyaanis who realized Krishna's true identity and became one of his devotees and all even before Kans Vadh.😕

Akrur, alongside Kritavarma & Satadhanva, was among the leaders of the Andhaka faction in Dwaraka. I believe there were 2 factions - the Vrishnis & the Andhakas.

Above question - when was Yama killed? I know Shiva once threatened to kill him when one of his disciples - forget his name - did a Shiva puja to avoid dying as scheduled on his 16th b'day. Shiva attacked Yamraj, and he apologized and gave up that attempt, and Shiva granted the disciple a long life.

I was a powerful ruler who once fought a battle w/ Bheeshma, where I was worsted. Then I became an ally of Jarasandha, and fought several wars alongside him.

Sometime after his death, I did a Shiva penance and invoked from Shiva great powers, and armed with that, I invaded Dwaraka in Krishna's absense. I laid waste to the city, but ultimately, my army was destroyed by Krishna's sons and I was defeated by Pradhyumna. After that, Krishna returned and I fought a fierce airborne battle against him, during which I killed a mayavi Vasudev in front of him to break him. After the battle resumed, I was killed.

Kalyavan? i don't think that's correct but i believe his name started with K? was he killed by Muchukunda?

Shalva. He fought Bheeshma over Amba, and invaded Dwaraka to avenge the death of Shishupala. While Krishna was in Indraprastha during the Rajasuya yagna, he invaded.

Next one, and then I'll let someone else post:

I was an asura w/ 1000 arms. I was very versatile and would use them in playing different musical instruments and singing paeans in praise of Lord Shiva. As a result, he granted me a boon that he'd fight alongside me if I was ever attacked.

At my behest, he fought w/ Krishna and was defeated by him, following which Krishna cut off all but 2 of my arms. The reason for my enemity w/ Krishna - his grandson eloping w/ my daughter against my wishes, following which I imprisoned him.

Who am I?
