LET ME GIVE YOU ALL THE ENTIRE STORY.....:

WHAT IS THE RELATION BETWEEN SUBHADHRA AND THRIJATA???

*.Thrijata was the daughter of the king Vibheeshana. She treated Seetha like her daughter when she was abducted and kept under arrest by the Lankesh Ravana. So Rama and seetha were extremely pleased and offered to treat her well in the next janma of her.

*.Soon the Dwapara yuga started and Vishnu incarnated himself as Krishna. Once, after the Mahabharatha war was over, Krishna took Subhadhra, his sister and Arjuna on a boat to the deep sea. Then krishna ordered Arjuna to throw Subhadhra into the sea and come back without looking at the back. Arjuna as ordered did the same. But when he came to the sea-shore, he could not conrol his anxiety and turned back and saw.

*.He found a large demoness at the back. He was surprised and asked Krishna about this. He explained the same as follows:

"LAST YUGA, SHE WAS THRIJATA. AS SHE TOOK CARE OF SEETHA, SHE WAS BLESSED TO BECOME MY SISTER THIS YUGA. AND NOW HER KARMA IS OVER. SO ONLY SHE ATTAINED HER ORIGINAL FORM OF A DEMONESS AGAIN......"..

I GAVE A CLUE WHICH DENOTED HER PREVIOUS BIRTH(THRIJATA) AND NOT HER PRESENT ONE.......

Actually Subhadhra is not yogamaya. she was born to Rohini after Kamsa Vadha only.

BUT WHAT ARE THE ANSWERS FOR THE REMAINING QUESTIONS???

I too heard that Subhadra was Trijata in her previous life...in some version of Ramayan I read that at the end of Ram Avatar, Trijata asked Ramji for a boon that she could share a close familial relationship with him in his next avatar, and he granted her her desire by making her be reborn as his sister in Krishna Avatar.

One question though...was Subhadra Devaki or Rohini's daughter? I think she was Rohini's, right?

Yogmaya as Subhadra bit came from Padma Puraan if I'm not mistaken, I'll double-check and confirm later... but the Trijata version was interesting too, thanks for sharing 😊 I guess it's another case of different versions describing the events as they might have occurred in different kalpas and manvantars... there are so many out there. Maybe we'd even find a version out there that tells us even Trijata was an incarnation of Yogmaya, would make a lot of sense given her privileged position to spend so much time alongside Lakshmi Maa.... anyways interesting stuff, thanks again.

And yeah Janu, she was born to Rohini Maa as per most texts.

i actually heard that yogamaya was so pleased with Devaki/Rohini for fighing for her that she promised one of them to actually become their daughter...........but i forgot wether it was Devaki or Rohini.......
