Just now prashant spoke live from Nepal to NDTV abt it..saying he have requested all of them to calm down..etc..etc.

they showed videos as well..where ppl had put fire in some stuff as well..
prashant said tht he wants everyone to calm down or else he cant concentrate on anything..he requested actually to calm down..and that he spoke to sony as well ..today ..

I was never a Prashant supporter... but I liked him cos he was very humble. The RJ should not have made fun of him, Prasant won by votes which was fair and if his Nepali origin is a problem, the Sony management should have looked into the matter.

It was so sweet of Prashant to request all his fans to be calm 😳

You can laugh all you want, but it takes passion to take such steps. And no, it doesn't take a superhuman to close a town like Darjeeling. If there is a cause, everybody pitches in. And this is not the first time people have protested against typecasting.

Does this thing have only to do with Prashant? It's about the entire Nepali speaking Indians, who have been made fun of by this RJ and countless others. If some Nepali speaking Indians are happy to be made fun of, it's their life, nobody is forcing them to join in. It's those people who will not tolerate this sort of discrimination who have come out on the streets.

Ok, so if somebody calls your dad a cabbie (who I'm assuming is a brown Indian), an Indian Muslim a terrorist, a Pathan a homosexual, is this criticism or something else? Should they gracefully accept this and say, 'Thank you very much, I will try not to be a cabbie, a Muslim or a Pathan in future?' If you think, then good for you, keep staying happy at being called a Paki or a cabbie's daughter, not everybody will though.
