Look at the substance, not the form. That RJ made a racist and degrading comments about a particular type of Indians and instead of condemning it you are looking for Grammatical errors. People listening to that station heard it and you can't deny that. What words, tense or form is used to describe it besides the point.

whatever you say, correct grammar adds a sense of authenticity to any report.

i'm going to condemn the RJ's remarks as well as the overreaction at darjeeling. a whole city shut down because of offensive remarks by some RJ? come on...

Ok, have you been to Darjeeling? It's a small town, not a huge city like LA or Toronto. It doesn't take much to shut down a town of that size. And burning effigies isn't that new a concept in other cities of India, no? Effigies have been burnt for lesser things like losing a cricket match. Anyhow, I doubt anybody other than those who have been racially typecasted can understand how it feels to be generalized all the time that way.

However, if there were damage to public property in the process, then that has to be condemned as well. But if it was just the closure of businesses as a show of protest, I don't see anything wrong with that, it's a legitimate and democratically accepted way of protesting.

Almost all FM Radio staions in Delhi are Hindi..Red FM is also a Hindi Radio station...Nitin ne woh sab Hindi mein bola tha.

I know he said it jokingly but it is not a good idea to make fun of any community esp about their economic background or profession.

Who is this stupid guy? He must be fired for his remarks whether he did intensionally or jokingly. Plus he must apologize for his remarks.People need to make sure he won't get any kind of braodcasting job in the future. This is not a joking issue. Instead of bringing communities together this stupid guy is dividing the communities. He should be isolated and charged with racism.

How come a narrow minded, culprit person gets a job in FM? Radio stations are supposed to teach people about good things and bring all communities together instead this guy is just doing the opposite things. He must pay the price for his act.

There are very very few stupid ones like Rush Limaugh. He was fired from Espn becasuse he made racial comments. Another one is Don Imus who was fired for racial comments as well. He apologized many many times in front of the basketball ladies team They accepted his apologize but he won't be able to host the show again. This guy is ripping the communities apart. What is his point? Is he mean to say that poor people should never get opportunities? They and their children's talents should not be respected and reconized at all? Only the rich, the powerful and celebrities should rule and the rest of the helpless and poor people are left to survive in hell and worship the rich, powerful and celebrities. What a loser this guy is?leave this loser alone. Make sure he doesn't get any broadcasting job in the future. We as a human being can do much better and make this world more peaceful and wonderful place to leave .Guys leave this stupid bas***d alone.
