😆 but on a serious note you cannot compare anyone in this indian idol with karunya he is far far better than every person in this competition, what a range in his voice. karunya is extraordinary and its unfair to compare with current indian idols..

If Prashanth becomes Indian Idol I wont trust in Indian Idol contest any more. Then anyone who can sing an average can become idol. Amit was better than Prasanth in mumbai show.

Amit is the most versatile not Emon,Udit ji in his comments said that Amit has sung all types of songs equally well,
Its not true either that Amit can sing only some songs really well & has not atempted hard songs,do u think songs like Dil lena khel,ye jo desh hai mera,tum kya jano, jhumroo,gustakh dil are easy songs? the above mentioned songs are each different & is a testament to his versatility.Emon is a very good singer but his voice is not sweet & it gets thin in the high notes,listen to then singing dhamaal in Emon's last gala(the way he sings' dhamaal')
Emon has not pulled off so many different genres as beautifully as Amit did.
as for Prashant sadly he is no match with Amit, sometimes u can barely hear Prashants voice above the music.the final would have been so much better had it been Emon & Amit.

I have to disagree with you. Emon was the most versatile. Emon is the only one who has actually sung a classical song like piya re. Forget the galas, right from the piano rounds he has been versatile. Emon could pull off a mitwa and teri deewani both folk type songs and make them sound brilliant. Amit could not pull off the omkara and maeeri ri as well. Emon has sung romantic, sad, comedy, disco, numbers equally well. He has pulled off even more genres if you actually list down both their songs. But having said that Amit's strength is his deep manly voice while Emon has a boyish voice. People even today prefer a manly voice and don't really like a boyish voice. The final competition was always between Emon and Amit, both of whom have their strengths and weaknesses. Now that Emon is out, Amit is already the winner. Amit deserves the title because he is the best singer left in the competition.

Amit singing....'bula ki jaana mein kaun'....this aint romantic...!!!

Its more of a sufi song...he did well with it..!!!

Amit's talent shudnt be doubted....he is a good singer for sure..!!!

He has sung fast song's too...today too he sang one...(his first one)!!!

yes the channels have given him more coverage & importance but that should have helped Emon,its not a bad impact in thsi age of media.

after todays perf all questions abt Amits versatility would go out of the window 😊
bulla ki jana is an extremely diff sufi type of song,its a punjabi song,his pronounciation was so clear,he proved that he is eqaully good in non-romantic,difficult songs as well(for ppl who were not convinced)

as for hamma hamma,its not his first fast number,dil lena khel,tum kya jano,gustakh dil were all fast numbers.
I have serious doubt whether Emon would have pulled off bulla ki jana as well.
fyi Emons comedic song was poor,
disco,sad,romantic songs were sung by Amit equally well,infact his yaad ara hai was better than Emons haasina...

I agree Emon had advantage in classical thats bcoz he has training,Amit has no training.
on the other hand Amit has advantage in romantic numbers ,
so u cant say Emon is more versatile than Amit.At best u can say both are equal in versatlity but Amits strongest point is his superb voice.So Amit edges out Emon 😊
