So, with Puja's elimination today, and Deepali's exit last week, the voting patterns should be obvious by now. If a singer performs well, his fans somehow get a little more complacent with their voting, while an endangered contestant (i.e. one who received poor reviews) has his/her fans voting like CAR-AZY! Voila! the former contestant gets eliminated in the process.
However, Mr. Prashant has a loyal following of fans from Day 1, and it is pretty clear that when it comes to votes no one can stop him. So, I think this undoubtedly brings all debate about the next Indian Idol to an end. It has to be Prashant, based on pure logic. We all that know for a fact that this show is based completely on public votes. And if it comes down to it and judging by the trend thus far, Prashant (who has never been in the danger zone) has the most public votes, so he is bound to win the competition hands down.
Emon can sing well, Amit can be brilliant, and Chang can keep improving, but does it really matter? Ankita has chances of getting voted out next week. Then one by one Emon, Chang, Amit--why you ask? Well, purely voting statistics, none of them can come close to the votes generated for Prashant! It is that simple.
I would even go as far as to say that it doesn't matter what anyone says about Prashant, HE IS STILL GOING TO WIN.😉 And that my friends is an Indian Idol fact.
