You guys should watch the last gala again. Deepali's overall demeanour (including her chat with Puja) is a bit over the top. She has to remain careful and not forget that last year great singers (much better than her on anyday) like Panna, Ravi, Amey, Antara and Meenal went out because they were over the top.

what do you mean by that? can you please elaborate? i think she was just giving confidence to puja, what was wrong in that?

BUT during that talk she annoyingly said that we do so much effort yet judjes like anu malik still criticize us.. It was like taking anu's comments to her heart and basically saying that anu does not appreciate our efforts..

I think it was a bit over the top...

I don't think it was...she just wanted to comfort puja - besides what she said wasn't really arrogant in any way. she basically said we all make mistakes and the judges are there to criticize to just take it as it is and do better next time.

maybe I like deepali so I'm supporting her here but I also don't think she came off as arrogant when she said she doesn't know. it seems like a valid answer to me. I mean, maybe she has to listen it again to determine. (also didn't she point out her own mistakes in that one episode when she was RJ-ing with mini?)

So what is implied is never answer back to judges, show humility and be a meek to win the contest. I would agree with that. We have seen that in the past with Antara, Amey, Arpita etc. The down to earth ones win. So yeah!😛

Ok agreed that the all four of the judges are very experienced professionals and very good at what they do (alisha? 😕 😆 no her recorded songs sound great too ). However, no one is free from faults... Infact there are several times when they understate or overexagerate their comments, and many times the contestants just suck it in and not say anything even after realizing that they have no clue what the judge(s) did not like about their performance.

I guess sometimes you have to speak up though. Deepali refuted but she did so in a very well mannered way. She said she does not realize where she went bad, however she will pay more attention to things next time and try to improve her performance.
