Another factor is that whoever sings first has a disadvantage ...as the show progresses the comments become relative...!

Had he said that she was missing a bit of soul then I would agree but he said off-key and then said sur was there and dead singing. Anu Malik seemed confused and first performer bore all the brunt.

yeah it was definitely not dead singing..she sang pretty well!!

Ashu, After watching hopeless renditions on Zee and then Sony I thought either my ears need to be checked or my TV gone bonkers.😃

i liked deepali's singing today thoug i felt she was lil off-key at da begining.. may be it jus happend while she was tryng to move frm stairs.. but later she sang it soo beautifully nd touched my heart 👏

I didnt mind Anu Malik's initial comment which was something along the lines of your singing is great Deepali we all know that, the song just needs more performance or something like that... but as soon as the other judges started contradicting him he jumped to his defense and in doing so exagerated (and even changed) his initial comments.

Deepali's singing today, in my opinion, was very good in sur. All she needed to do, I think, is put more energy into her song... which is what Anu Malik should have stuck by instead of just making his comments worse and worse.

Starsgo, I missed other posts. I totally agree with you. Anu was harsh may be because she was the first one to perform.

Yes Madhy. I liked it too. May be not her best but not so bad either.

i think at the beginning she was not that good(when she was coming down the stairs, but later she picked up and i anjoyed her performance, maybe it was not her best, but to say it's dead singing was going overboard. i guess she needs some more connecting with the audeince, it was like she was singing for her self and not all of us. but i think she has a lot of potential.
