Such ordinary singers!!

after watching yesterday's n today's epi...i feel india mein achche singers ki kami aa gayi hai..

serioously...the level of II is going down every year.. first indian idol... there were some fantastic singers...amit sana, rahul vaidaya, rahul saxena,abhijeet sawant, prajakta! each one of them was soo good...!

II 2.. only 2 gr8 singers...amey n karunya

II3.. all are good...but great..NONE!! II shud change their slogan...they say "wo aawaz jo banegi, bharat ki shaan" ...😕 in mein se to koi banne layak nahi!! bring in some gr8 indian singers like lata, asha...n see what they will say abt them... heck bring back sonu nigam..he'll give the right judgement...

these judges are always praising everybody...burai bhi karte hai to aise ki aisa lagta it was actually a "good comment"!

I pretty much agree to your post, except I feel Emon can very well be the Amey of II-3 ... even Meiyang has that potential to be like Abhijeet Sawant, provided he polishes up a little bit more ...

actually contestants are concentrating more on X factor than on singing... they are like well dressed with a fine hair cut with highlights - they seldom need any make over...

all good singers take part in SRGMP actually 😆

very true sarah...all contestants...somehow its in their head...that they have to look this cool n funky to be the next indian idol...they have to peform,dress up...basically do everything except sing 😆

hmm yes Emon...hez the only little hope i have..lets see...😊

well..they dont have much singing time...so its hard to gauge their range...i think this time there are many good singers thats why its hard to pick out great ones...last year there werent that many so it was easier to distinguish the good ones....IMO

what do u mean singing time? 😕 yes thats what i am saying..everyone is good this time but NO one is gr8! 😛 (i dont think the way u think)

i find Shifa, Puja and Parleen more serious about it
today Emon was rocking

Today, to my view.......Meiyang was not that good as earlier........he was shouting more........his voice seems having a KHARASH........

Now only Shifa, Puja, Parleen and Emon are my hope
Charu too coz she sang really well last night

Judges didn't comment straight forward, as annu malik is not here

Sonu and Farah should be there as Udit, Alisha seemed to be really kind hearted...........but in this.....there should be not that much kindness needed

I sort of agree with you about the guys except Emon, also I think Meiyang has potential although he seems to be concentrating a bit much on style these days. In the girls Puja and Shifa have possibilities. Maybe Charu and Vartika also. Lets see the whole piano round before deciding. Some contestants seemed nervous today, like Shantanu. 😊

I personally think that II-3 has much better singers than II-2. II-1 was definitely better in freshness of concept and number of good singers. II-2 saw only two great singers and rest all were mediocre. So I would say II-3 is definitely better compared to last season. We are yet to warm up to the contestants because Sony was too busy showing all the dramas and unwanted scenes and kind of hid most of the good singers. I would say that this is the first time I heard all these girls and I made so many favorites. Before piano rounds (Orchestra) I only knew 5-6 singers. So this was a revelation. I am yet to watch boys' round so will comment only later on that.

About appearance I am glad that this year II producers didn't stress on gaudy get-ups (Thanks no Farha Khan). All girl contestants wore pretty decent clothes unlike other talent show contestants and also looked simple devoid of garish makeup. I would give II-3 a thumbs-up👍🏼 and wait for further rounds to form a solid opinion.
