II-2 saw only two great singers and rest all were mediocre. So I would say II-3 is definitely better compared to last season. We are yet to warm up to the contestants because Sony was too busy showing all the dramas and unwanted scenes and kind of hid most of the good singers. I would say that this is the first time I heard all these girls and I made so many favorites. Before piano rounds (Orchestra) I only knew 5-6 singers. So this was a revelation. I am yet to watch boys' round so will comment only later on that.

About appearance I am glad that this year II producers didn't stress on gaudy get-ups (Thanks no Farha Khan). All girl contestants wore pretty decent clothes unlike other talent show contestants and also looked simple devoid of garish makeup. I would give II-3 a thumbs-up👍🏼 and wait for further rounds to form a solid opinion.

oh yes II 3 has better singers then II 2 definitely..but what i am saying is that 2 singers in II 2 were outstading whereas in II 3 ...everyone is good, but no onez gr8!

Manali, I respect your opinion and everyone else's. I would say let us wait for at least 2 more rounds. We only heard one round of these contestants and we are comparing them to so many wonderful rounds of Amey and Karunya. That seems a bit unfair. I have lots of favorites this time and high expectations too.

I am quite sure that we will definitely find more than 2 great singers from this season.

Maya you are right as well... inspite of getting the standards of singing slightly degraded, we are having fun to watch equally talented contenders... whatever may be but all the 28 were/are of same league except a few.... theres no one coming out as a strongest contender yet are competent 😛

I completely agree...

Also judges have been told to praise all the contestants, so a common man thinks that all are great singers.
