Maybe the judges this year have been asked to go easy on the criticism. Last year, whenever a contestant was criticized he/she would be safe, while the contestants who were praised to the skies came in the bottom three. So this time if the judges praise nearly everyone, maybe the audience will finally decide depending on how they sang. Just a thought....😆😆😆

BTW from what I remember of last years piano round, judges were nice to most of the girl contestants also. The only one who was bashed was Jolly (and she was really really bad). Ava, who didn't deliver a very good performance, was praised just like Rashmi/Harshida this time, that 'you are very good and you can do better' type comment. Only on the next day did the judges say that her perf was the weakest. So maybe we are remembering the later rounds of II2 and commenting, but I think the piano rounds were similar last year too, they were trying to encourage the contestant on their first performance on stage. I hope they will be more analytical in the later stages. Javedsaab can definitely do it well, and Anu should be back. I hope Udit wakes up a bit. I'm losing hope for Alisha.

First I don't really agree on the Richa issue. She sang good, but what Javed saheb told her was true. She was singing it very sadly. Javed saheb didn't say she sang badly.

And yes, I miss Anu ji. Indian Idol is just Sa Re Ga Ma Pa without him. My ears were starting to hurt becoz of the praising comments 😆 Javed saheb was the only one who was giving critics, but he is a very sweet man so he won't say it in a mean way. On the other hand, Anu Malek would have dramatized it and say it in a less nicer way... damn this show was so boring. 🤢 Hope Anu ji comes back soon
