Round based on ragas.😊

Well sung by the contestants. definite improvement in their singing😊

Pandit jasraj was the special judge today.Was a pleasure seeing him on the show.😊

Devendra really did well in his singing today The jab deep jale seemed a bit loud to me after hearing Yesudas soft singing, but later his taans and sargams deserve a huge round of👏👏👏

For me personally, ritika was the complete package today.

She is the find of II6. Her expressions and the feelings she brings out in each song is amazing. Yes, mistakes are there. But she is fantastic in my opinion.👏👏

Sohini should have nailed this round. she sang well, but not keeping up with the laya is inexcusable for a classically trained singer. sad, she should be out,. High time.

Vipul was superb today, for a song which i personally dislike, he actually made it sound wonderful.

Asha tais comments were confusing. I think she meant he was off the raag when he sang the classical sargams.She could have been more specific or did she mean the whole song. I doubt it.

Poorvi was actually not bad today. a very good effort.👏 Her mom was superb what .clear singing👏

Did not enjoy amits performance. just could not connect to his voice or the way he sang. So much praise from the judges? and performer of the day???????😆

The judges have consistently given the performer of the day award to the wrong person every week. Guess it had nothing to do with performances except kaushiks😊

Finale in another 4 weeks, guess, there will not be a wildcard.

Thank you sony and indian idol for not prolonging the agony of this season😃

lol they are just passing singer of the day to every person... =P. I liked Vipuls performance, Asha thai seemed a little pissed afterwards.

Here's my take:

Devendra: top notch!! Especially because i love Yesudas and I love that song. He was amazing, I'm glad he sang it a little loud to make it his own and step out of his soft singing genre. I love loved it! I had lost faith he was becoming boringly consistent and dull but today he made me realize why I loved him in the audition!!

Amit: I enjoyed it, it wasn't amazing, but it wasn't bad. He chose a hard number and I think he did the best he could.

Poorvi: nice and enjoyable, I liked she kept steady and didn't go over the top. Her sa ra ga ma was a little boring but overall enjoyable.

Ritika: My fav female singer's song, Kavitaji!! Oh how I loved her performance, I smiled because she's good at sounding like other singers at times and I got the Kavitaji feel so it was magical for me. Such a superb voice at such a tender age.

Sohini: i liked it, was a little sharp, and I felt she was too fast and a little unclear at times.

Vipul: i loved his song lol, he sang it very well, I did notice a little upset in his raag (I guess Asha ji was referring to that) but overall I love his voice, his passion for the song, his power! :) Lovely!

Vipul went off note in 1 place. That is what Asha ji was saying. Devendra and Ritika were the best today.

Sohini disappointed with her sur and taal.

Amit was ok, but not very impressive.

Nice singing today. I dont like classical songs that much but the singing of the contestants made it listen worthy!

Vipul: He is a wonderful singer and he proved that yet again today!

Amit: Like Sunidhi said: COME BACK performance! No throath problems, great singing, amazing feel, he seemed so involved in the song. Especially the end was so good! i truly enjoyed it!

Poorvi: Good attempt, but she and Sohini were weakest today.

Sohini: It was her genre and she has a beautiful voice. But her performance was just good, nothing special.

Ritika: Expressions were awesome! She gave a great performance.

Devender: Loved his performance. His singing took me to another world.

I would also like to add that i love to see the friendship between Devender and Amit 😊

Vipul was not his best for me today (I found him a bit loud at times)

Amit was very good for me

Poorvi was the weakest and her sargam was pretty stiff and strange sounding

I liked Sohini today and did not agree with the judges (she was not as bad as they made it out)

Ritika was quite good (she got better and better as she sang)

Devender was very good for me (I prefer him in this type of songs rather than romantic numbers)
