That's true giggles....all these singers are starting out on their musical journey and actually it's wrong for us to deny them of their journey coz it's a learning process that they should not miss out on! Let them be....they're newcomers and if they're talented then that's excellent but they never will be better than the original singer! So don't compare apples to oranges!

I'm sorry but I don't know many Karu fans who think that he's better than the original singer. I think I speak for all of us when I say that we believe that Karunya is an exceptional singer but that's coz he makes each song his own and renders it with renewed feel which doesn't make it better or worse than the original. The original singer stands at his/her level (considering that Karu doesn't leave the female singers out!) and Karunya is at his own level....they are not comparable so where does the issue of Karunya being better than the original singer come in!

👏 well said.. totally agree with u....KAru has so many devoted fans because he is an ORIGINAL. Every song that he sings he makes it his own..so u really cannot compare him with other singers...even before there was this tendecy by folks to compare Karu with his cousin Hema.😕

I'm not disgrading Karu and no one could do that...but having said that, it should be always in our mind that they are singing what has already been done n performed and following someone's path is an easy task than to make one...I'm sure given an opportunity, karu will do that for sure but for now, its just overrating and you yourself are doing harm to his modest image by saying such things...
over-promotion and overrating are even headlines in news n print media in India so no one can deny that...you can disagree to that for sure....and this forum is also not an exception....for that matter atleast

oh c'mon y compare? Nuzrat fateh ali khan was legend....hope kadru also can gain the same repect ondeday but today is not that day. an original will always b an original. karu gave a superb performance and kuddos to him for that but dont compare plz

thats what everyone is trying to say....let them go thru acid test n make themselves real jewel...before comparing them to anyone in the industry...
