Overall SANDEEP is Better than Karunya - Page 3

when karu is on stage he owns it.one cant take ones eyes off him...his songs are so complicated and one just gets carried along.every time you think that this was the best(i get worried that he peaked so early).then he comes back with another thumping performance....the guests and judges start gushing all over again!!!!!!
all I can say is HOW DOES HE DO IT...or as sonu says "itna accha kaise ga lete ho"WOWWWWW 👏

This whole idol thing is very nebulous. What the hell do they really expect from this person? Does this person have to look dashing on stage? Does he have to perform well live? Or this just a stepping stone to playback singing? I think the judges also really do not know what it is otherwise they would really be as critical about the performers about their sur and all. This is another example of terrible organization.

😊 Hi i completely agree with you. With due respect to all who won't agree with me, but first and fore most an Indian Idol needs versatality in singing, originality, and also performance. Performance doesn't mean you need to move your hands , but you need to emote with good expressions needed for that particular song, like Karu showed in Kishore Kumar's song in the last Gala. When you can sing and perform without any effort and without loosing your sur is what will make a great Indian Idol. I am sure all music lovers and mature people understand this. Coming to votes, yes we just have to wait and see. Our Indian janata are little unpredictable, some times our younger generation tend to go for looks and other endearing things, i hope they should all realize that this is the musical talent show, but some how i have still got faith and great respect for Indian Janata.Our Janata supported very talented Amit Sana in Indian Idol 1 till the end and final battle between Abhijit and Amit was very tough, but we have to agree that in finals Abhijith somehow had over taken Amith in hi singing, even though i like both of them I hope this time also hopefully regional bug won't bite people atleast in Indian Idol competition as the final battle is between two talented singers and let the best, and deserving take the Indian Idol title. For me without any doubt that will be our Own Karunya. Please vote for the deserving Karu. Thanks.

SUR should be first priority. If sur is not there, what's the point of doing the other things (performance, crowd pulling, etc.)? Actually, Sandeep has been singing in Sur lately, no doubt about that. I am just dissagreeing with what the topic starter is saying on behalf of sur and performance, etc.

😊I feel Karunya has got that package you are talking about more than any one you are talking about as Sonu constsntly supported not only Karu's singing and the effortless way he is performing along with singing, which you can see in every gala, especially in the last Gala both Bunty and Bubli, and Kishoreda's song, the reason why all judges including Vishal Anand went gaga over Karu and declared him the Indian Idol. The correct gestures with exact emotions on the face along with great voice without going off sur is what you need in a total package, which is no doubt what Karu has got. If by chance Karu loses this final battle due to lack of votes then the loss is purely for Sony, as they will definitely loose the only talent with whome they can create wonders in their Albums and the music will sell like any thing. Definitely Karu will reach to the top by his sheer voice quality and all the music directors will be running after him whether he wins the Indian idol title or not. But if Karu wins this title, that means it is the ultimate win for music, talent and finally for justice . This is my personal openion. Please my request again is vote for the ultimate talent Karunya.

overall....considering all the facts, sur(90% imp), performance(10%), etc etc...Sandeep is no match for Karunya!
if you still want to a mediocre singer to b ur Idol, who shud represent whole India...plzzz go ahead n do so!!

but, plzzzzzzzz dont compare sandeep to Karunya in talent..Karunya is the best!

karu started singing when he was 3 or 4 years old..
he got up at 4 AM to do his riyaz everyday.
he won tv music competions as a kid.
he has given pure classical performances.
he is a kuchupudi dancer.
he started composing music at age of 4.
it is for nothing that judges praise him...he worked hard and single mindedly to reach where he is
HE didnt ignore his studies ,he is an engineering stude

he made an effort to learn and perfect a language alien to him,even folk based songs.so that his diction is perfect.
for the indian youth he has the merits to become the indian idol.

if god has blessed one with beauty(in this case voice too)that shd not be instant passport for fame and stardom....
rohan sharma ,celina jaitly, katrina kaif and co are our actors...

sandeep needs a lot of hard work to reach close to karunya ,i m sorry for being harsh .Karunya has a personality and presence that will only enhance with time.
But personally for me where nobody needs to agree as everybody is entitled to keep views ,i fail to connect with karunya.May be with time i ll connect more with him .
Its just like when i connected most with Arijit ppl found him less connecting with audience so its again a relative opinion of mine and its not for any debate or counter replies.

We all want our money's worth when we go to watch a stage show. But what use is average good looks without strength in singing and performance. It took months for Sandeep to learn to move anything more than his hands, forget moving people.

Karunya has the complete package. He knows how to interact with the crowd. He sings so well that people are spell-bound. He dances well. He is over-all so pleasant. And when people buy his CDs they get what they are looking for - excellent singing. Sandeep's CD will not have the same impact - for no one gets to see his so-called, hyped good looks.

I am extremely sorry for being harsh, but this thread was beginning to put me off.

so you would never enjoy a lata mangeshkar night because she just stands at one place and sing and all the ghazal singers too. they just sit at one place and whole everning we have to listen to them.
