IMHO, Sonu can not be blamed for Monali, she is not out because of Sonu but because of public votes. you have to accept that. Sonu also gave bad comments to Sandeep, Panna and Ravi but nothing happened to them.

blaming Sonu for Monali's outing is like blaming Hitler's parents (their love basically) for what Hitler has done to jews.. is it justifiable?? 😆

Monali was a big threat for Meenal and Sonu Knew it.

monali was not PERFECT in the gala. perfect is what i would say amey was yesterday. aap original gaana ko suniye - you will notice that monali's voice was shaky in many instances .... as someone said she is yet to match her "o mere sona re" performance. infact i think that all the three girls are very good singers who dont perform consistently always. Sonu was right in saying that she was not as good as how she could have been..he said the same of meenal (who was not as good as her lambi judaai song) ... he did not say anything bad about amey or karunya. i respect sonu much more than i EVER will farah or anu as music competition judges.

i totally agree that monali should not have gone out when we have contestants like ravi, sandeep, anuj and panna left... however, her performance day before was not the best. and as to sonu's comments causing monali to exit - well what have we always felt - the public cannot judge a music competition and they are made to .. so this is what comes of it..!!!! 😊

First Sonu had gone after Neha and the result neha was out then he went after Monali and she is out. Now he will go after Antara. Actually allready he started about Antara's pronunciation.

cuz her pronunciation WAS bad...geez..how hard is that to understand.

I agree with LT..Sonu isihte most sane judge onthat show..even I could point out all the MIstakes Monali did in her Gala performance.

ANd if the janta really were listening to Sonu, Karunya and Meenal would never had gone into the bottom three, when compared to his -ve comments for Panna, Ravi, etc.

The only thing the janta looks at is how CUTE the contestant is. Pretty sad bcuz singing ability is at the bottom of the list in priorities. 🤢

I think the later posts totally misconstrued what I said..I only reiterated what Sonu said once that when he says something bad about a good contestant people might be taking that to heart and not voting for that contestant...having said that, why does he gives such harsh comments to deserving candidates like Monali...I do not know...sure she was not at her A grade singing on Monday...but she has potential and everyone knows that..so WHY BE THAT HARSH WITH THE COMMENTS...

Having said that I do know that Sonu is invaluable to II..and he is the best judge...i like his honest opinions when it comes to Sandeep, Ravi and Panna..:) But when he got mad with Monali, I was totally surprised..the song is extremely hard to sing...so he could have told Monali that she should have chosen a song she had a comfort level singing.

Anyways...what's done is done..hope it does not happen again..cannot afford to lose Amey, Karunya or Meenal before Antra, Panna, Sandeep and Ravi. And I do not have much to say about Anuj..his recordings he released were sensational..especially "Chandan sa Badan" but he just seems scared in the competition.

Arre ... janta ka kuchh pataa nahin yaar. Bekaar waalon ko daanto, toh unhe votes ki baarish kar deti hai. Acchhe waalon ko daanto, toh bottom 3 mein pattak deti hai ....

I think II-2 should stop showing judges ke comments on the gala day. The next day b4 the elimination begins, they should be analysing these singers.
