Huge differences in US and Indian opinions?

I mean no offense, but why is there such a difference in opinion? I actually just noticed this recently, and its kind of weird how the perception is so different from both countries. Most people here in the US who watch Indian Idol absolutely LOVE Swaroop. There are many of us rooting for him to win it all. But seems like s many of you guys in India would really like him to be eliminated soon? Dunno why there's such a discrepancy, but in all honesty there's a lot of us who ONLY watch this season just for Swaroop. Shashi was also VERY popular here in the states, but you guys eliminated him way too early. And even though most here agree that Sreeram's a great singer, not many people would mind him being eliminated because his voice isn't anything unique or something we haven't heard before. And for the record, everyone here thinks Bhoomi should've been eliminated a LONG time ago.

I really wish votes could be counted internationally, but since only India's votes count, I hope you guys eliminate Bhoomi soon! :)

I don't really think the opinion of the people in the US reflects what you have written.

Actually fans of sreeram are knowingly creating disturbance for others but now they are failure. I am now stronger to vote for Bhoomi and Swaroop. There are many silent supporters of Swaroop and I am sure that Bhoomi and Swaroop would be in top 2 because bhoomi is now improving. All depends upon everyday performance. Votes and Judges decision both are to be considered.

Agree with all that you have to say, especially about support based on each individual performance........blindly supporting a contestant should ideally be avoided.....I started off as a fan of Vishwas and Shashi.....was and am still a fan of Rakesh.....but of late, I have really begun to enjoy Swaroop and Bhoomi's performances....I wouldn't mind seeing either of them win II, if they continue improving like this....

I am based in US and am rooting for his elimination!!

I totally agree!! I am from USA and want Swaroop to win.

I would not mind to see Swaroop in the top 3 line up.
