Should They Just Quit?

Okay so each of us here believe there are some contestants undeserving of the Indian Idol title

Now let's say you were in there place:

You had passed through all the rounds because of Judge's encouragement and now you're in the galas, you see that you are the worst singer of the bunch, the rest of the contestants want you out and the judges want you out..but you're only passing each gala because you're lucky enough to get votes

And let's say you come on I-F and see more people cursing you out and your self esteem diminishes and you just don't know what to do

What would you do?
A) Outright quit the show because you feel that even if you are getting votes, it doesn't erase the fact that you just aren't good enough

B) Stay on the show because you refuse to be labeled as a quitter and are determined to continue working hard, if the janta is spending hard-earned money by voting for me, why should I let their money go to waste..I know I can't squeeze years of practice and experience in a week's worth of effort for a song but at least I won't leave without a fight


And if any of you have other options or views..please share what you would do if you were in their place..stay away from naming names to refrain from offending fans

If I were in their place- first of all, I wouldn't have participated in a singing competition, knowing that I can't sing 😆😆. Being a laughing stock isn't exactly my idea of fame 😉 😆

but disregard all that, you went to auditions and passed every judges test..and now here you are the worst singer of the group

If I was a singer on II-5, I would go with option (b)...i wouldn't quit at any cost even if I am a bad singer...but at the same time, I would hope the people would vote for the best singer which wouldn't be me in this case😛 and I wouldn't give any kinda excuses or reasons for my bad singing....and I would continue to give my best and try to improve....

Would quit. Seeing that some very deserving fellow participants have to leave the show, I wont be able to forgive myself. 😔.

I think I would do this as well. Most people cannot know their exact level of singing in advance. It's only through relative evaluation that one can get an idea. I wouldn't quit on my own but I sure would be hoping I am voted out so I don't have to go through the torture of being criticized constantly. And I certainly would not look happy each time I found out I was safe😆

Quite honestly....being in that spot, if I had the remotest chance of improving myself and had the abitlity to do so, I would come back at everyone with a vengence.....If I had it in me to be able to, then I really would go to infinity....and beyond.....just to prove myself....

For all of the above it is easier said than done. Firstly, if I have passed all the requisit criteria how can I be undeserving? You can say weakest but surely not undeserving.

If I were in that position, definitely my conscience wud prick me and showed on my face everytime I am saved undeservedly. I would either go up to the judges and appeal with them to d osomething about it or in one of my little speech, instead of giving excuses or crying I would thank my voters and ask them to vote for the deserving singer instead and tell them that you are thankful for their love but voting shoud not be misused.

Infact, I would be scared of what happens if I get elected as an idol and how am going to handle the position for next one year without being put to shame everywhere I go ad when ppl ask me to sing.. me singing besura!!
