Great singing by Chithraji!


Excellent feel she provided throughout the song. And obviously she has great voice quality as she showed throughout the song singing. She was good in her high notes, as well as her low notes. It was pretty much a flawless performance with great feeling and expression. I agree though that the song wasn't that difficult. But I don't think it was that easy, there were some high notes and low ones that could cause problems for some singers. Nonetheless, great singing!

Pamparara Ni Darirari Pamparara - I loved the guitar and piano interludes!

Deceptively good singing! You might think that this is no challenge for a singer. And I'm sure it isn't, for a great singer like Chitra. But it does allow her to showcase her voice control - on 'tumse' and on the various meends and holding notes.

Shaan has also done a great job! He doesn't have the masterful control over the 'mmm' harkats as Chitraji but man is that guy expressive! His voice just goes shoots through the heart! I guess you know where I'm going... Chitra can't expect that one mark for beautiful expression from me. And the beautiful Anu Malik melody just weaved its magic!

Without any high notes, low notes, taankari, layakari, different projection, this performance lacks 'competitiveness' unfortunately! I'll restrict myself to a 7/9 on the technical side and 0/1 on emotion. So it's 7/10 from me!
