I love north Indian folk music, it may be from up, rajastan, mp, haryana or punjab. please count me in.

this guy will have to work hard to succeed in bollywood. good news is that they do make songs with folk touch now-a-days thats why sukhvinder singh, kailash kher, mika singh and toshi are doing fine.

I think he is a play back singer material and must get a break-through pretty soon.😉

Initially I didn't hope that Swaroop would make it to the top 16, because of his lack of knowledge about contemporary and 'filmy' music. But he really impressed me with his performance in the top 16 round. Somewhere I seriously felt as if Sukhwinder Singh was singing that song.

He can do really well, just needs to get himself more equipped with the other genres of music. Has the potential to go on further. I would like to appreciate his talent, but i am not yet a fan of his. Let's see what more surprises he can give as a singer to the audience.

Swaroop's top 16 performance was really impressive...
He needs to learn and work hard to move ahead since he does not have much knowledge of hindi music..
But he has the right attitude to do that.
Love his voice it is so different..maybe I am biased since I love folk based songs..
Overall would love to listen to Swaroop more

I don't care if Swaroop sings film songs or not - his alaap gives me goosebumps👏👏

He wasn't the best today, but he is trying hard and his attitude is wonderful - "woh apna kaam karengey, main apna kaam karoonga". 👍🏼Good luck to him!
