When all the judges on Indian Idol were asked to reveal what, according to them would be each other's New Year resolution, the result was most unexpected. Javed Akhtar said that Annu Malek's resolution would be to hang all the contestants he dislikes on the show. Annu retorted to this by saying that he wished that Javed saab would love Annu Malek in the coming year. Kailash Kher announced that instead of an album every year he is going to bring one out every two years for the sake of exclusivity. Sonali Bendre, however, had the last word. She put an end to the debate by saying she never makes New Year resolutions. At this, Javed revealed the secret behind her decision: It is her birthday on the first of January and she is too busy on that day to make any resolutions. Security concerns

Star spinner Harbhajan Singh did a similar thing when he was invited as the celebrity judge for the grand finale of Zee TV's Tata Indicom Chota Packet Bad Dhamaka which will be telecast tonight. Not only did he refuse to stay in a five-star as suggested by the channel but he decided to come to the sets in his own car. YESTERYEAR star and Bollywood he-man, Dharmendra was recently a special guest on SaReGaMaPa. He was given the red-carpet treatment, with a crowd of fans who showered him with flowers. In response, Dharam paji broke into the little jig he is famous for, which was a treat for his fans who couldn't believe their luck. The tough guy of Bollywood also showed a surprising, softer side to him when he revealed his love for poetry, and throughout the episode, he kept reciting some verses that he had written. MEGHA Gupta, who plays Anchal in Main Teri Parchhain Hoon, recently faced an unusual problem while shooting. In real life, she's a great cook. In fact, she claims to have been one since she was five. But recently, her character Anchal, who is unable to cook, is married to Siddharth and has to keep the family and his three kids happy, so she decides to cook for them. Megha was required to be clumsy in the kitchen and she says "It was difficult pretending not to know how to cook because cooking comes to me naturally and, in the shot, I'm unable to do anything in kitchen. I had to truly put some major effort into unlearning." Sometimes, your talents in real life just don't work on the screen.
