Theme suggestions

Almost every season we have a repeat of themes. Anything you guys would want to see?

I’d like:

1. KK special

2. Regional songs special

3. Vishesh films special - where guests could be Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt

4. Bappi Lahiri special

5. SP Balasubramaniam special

6. Lata Mangeshkar special

We’ve lost some stalwarts of the industry over the last year, I think the show could pay a tribute to them.

During Christmas it would be nice if they sand Christmas carols - but that’s definitely not happening

Big yes for KK Special. With his family or industry friends as guests - Vishal Shekhar, Shaan, Salim...

They just had Mithun-Padmini in SRGMP lil champs. Id like to see Indian Idol beat that! 😊

songs based on particular raga eg.Bhairavi.

Honestly I’m surprised that they haven’t done a Lataji special considering how she passed this year.

But yes to regional songs!

I would also love to have a Rafi Sahab special and Ashaji (again I can’t believe these aren’t in their regular themes) but I guess since they sing a lot of the older composer songs they come into that.

I would love a Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy theme too I feel like their music is great and they don’t get much love during these competitions.

SPB never even figured as a medley tribute , if I remember. 😒. Another much needed special.

Vishesh films with the said guests , we had in SS2, but a repeat is still better than govindamendra 🤣
