Written Update - June 15, 2006

Adi is sleeping and in his dreams imagines chandni and says 'kya tum mujhse pyaar karti ho ya nahin... bolo na please' and shanty hears that and says 'haan... main tumse bahut pyaar karti hoon' and adi wakes up on hearing this.

He asks himself if he is really winning the bet that he made with tara or losing...

Here they show Chandni washing her face
and Dilawar asks 'Bahut pyaar karti ho Aaditya se'
Chandni is shocked... and asks what??? then Dilawar says 'i said you love Suraj, bhasker, dinakar a lot don't you?'
and chandni says 'who are all these people'
Dilawar replies taht they are all the names of the Sun god...
and Chandni asks what about aditya? and dilawar says 'that is also the name of the sun god!'
Chandni then asks what dilawar is doing there??? and dilawar replies that anyways she has to see his face in the mornings every day after marriage... so she better get used to this.

Shanty and dadaji are discussing Adi.
Adi meanwhile is dreaming of chandni. Dadaji asks Adi why he is eating Cornflakes when he doesn't like it...
and shanty asks how many days are left? and Adi says one day and remembers tara... when she said that after a week, if he asks she will say yes to marry.

Shanty asks dadaji what the matter is. and Dadaji tells him the truth...

Chandni is searching for something... and Dilawar enters the room...
some junk scene...
Dilawar gives her jhumkas. which her mom makes her wear...
she remembers the jhumka scene with adi...where he says 'nice jhumkhis miss parandhi'

Chandni is removing the jhumkas and her mom sees this...
chandni's mom comes to her and tells her that sometimes, for the sake of others, you have to wear a msk of happiness.
Chandni replies that when she was young, she had decided that she would not be like her mom, chachi and maasi and she will live for herself and her hapiness... Chandnis mom tells her that she can still do it.
and Chandni says that she cannot act like she is happy...

Adi is scolding one employee... at IC for reading the newspaper and not showing respect...
and he screams at everybody saying he will not tolerate indiscipline from anybody
He is looking at a photo of chandni's and asking how he will win the bet and then he says that he did not know that it would be so difficult to forget chandni. Shanty comes and makes a joke about dulhe raja and wants to go shopping...
and Adi is angry...asks to be left alone.
Shanty asks who it is..
Adi asks who is shanty talking about...
and shanty says the same girl in whose memories he is lost.
Adi remembers chandni again.. .for the nth time...

Adi asks how Shanty knew...
and shanty says who will tell him... he got to know by looking at adi's face...
adi scolds shanty says that he is lying and that shanty is making fun of adi.
He says that he knows everything about adi and his affair...
and he tells adi not to marry tara in a majboori...
Adi says that he still loves that girl... but just before she left she told that it is a prank that she played on him...
shanty says woh ladki? why are you callin gher that girl... why are you not taking her name
Adi says her name is Chandni... but he cannot go to meet chandni...
coz chandni herself told him that she does not love him and that it was just mazaak...
and shanty says that something tells him that chandni also loves him... and asks adi to rethink and says that he just hopes that he hopes that this does not ruin both their lives...and asks Adi to leave for Jalandhar

Chandni is remembering adi and is praying mata rani to remove adi from her memories. and wishes for his happiness.
The phone rings.

tara is thinking that he could not wait till the 7 days were up...
Adi comes to Tara's house and tells Tara that he could not keep his promise.
and says thank god... she didn't agree to marry him yest...
and he says that in the past 7 days, he has realised that he still loves Chandni and cannot forget her at all...
and tells tara that she is his best friend and he is sure that she will understand him... and he says that he is very very relieved.
Adi tells Tara that she is the best!

Adi stops a taxi and opens the door and sees shanty sitting in the cab... he tells adi that even he is coming to jalandhar.
