I’m definitely feeling more inspired to do VMs on Surya and Imlie these days, especially since she’s no longer in the maid avatar and they’re not abusing him with the dark foundation shade anymore. I do want to wait for more scenes between them before going for the multi-scene edits.

I wanna do one with the holi scenes this weekend if I have time, open to song suggestions. I had “Mere Rang Mein Rangne Wali” from Maine Pyaar Kya in mind for now.

Main toh abhi bhi atki hui hoon, there is still a small part of me thinking Agastya is in a coma coma somewhere and in 2 months towards the end he is found and Surya and Anjali are end game and Agastya and Imlie are end game 😭😭. Kya Karu mere Dil or dimag not moving on yet, but it is slowly getting there.... But long away from the melting iceberg.

I completely understand you, Illyria! Right now, I'm liking Surya as a character but still vo apnapan.. That connection.. Is missing, which I used to have with Agastya. I'm yet to feel him, his emotions. Abhi bhi sometimes, he seems like a stranger to me. It's just that I like the way he is shown to be different from current itv MLs, I like how he has set his priorities right. But yaa, still he has a long way to go!

I think it’s swelling up a bit, I took some painkillers since any pressure to the area hurts at the moment. Hopefully it’ll get better with time.

As for Surya, I feel myself melting but mostly with respect for now. He was such an idiot before Imlie got shot that it was hard for me to even root for him as a hero. Right now, they’re finally writing him to be supportive and understanding of Imlie. I’ve yet to feel fond of him because he hasn’t given reasons to relate to him yet.

Agastya was something else, I so often think about every experience he’ll miss out on in life and with Imlie. He was such a lovable character, there was a certain comforting nature to his voice as well that I’m missing a lot. It balanced Imlie’s sweet sa voice perfectly, right now even she’s more closed off when she speaks.

Every time I see the piano in Imlie and Agastya’s room, I’m reminded about how he will never play it again. Their story ended before they even had the chance to properly start it with eachother. This is one of the rare shows where I feel so much attachment to a jodi. I understand you for not pighlao-ing, since in a sense Surya is doing the bare minimum a good husband should do. The bar has been set pretty low by MLs from other shows though.

Melting for Surya as a character or a lead. He is turning out to be an amazing husband. From how they showed him to now, the growth is remarkable. Not yet warming up to him and Imlie. That will take a while.

See the makers have taken the story ahead with no u turn possible for Agastya. What is the point of watching the show if I keep being stuck in the past. Agastya Imlie were beautiful but they aren’t end game anymore. Sadly if I keep thinking about them, it will be difficult to watch the show. Not even watching old VMs for now. Will catchup after the show ends.
