Why Cheeku's loss, separation & Gudiya being alive was needed?

This separation was very much necessary for both of them to realise from where the other party's fear/insecurities was stemming from. Otw, both of them had kept the other person on a pedestal and that was really turning boring because at the end both are human beings with raw emotions and a couple being lovey-dovey & so understanding 24/7 can never be realistic. So one day the insecurities and flaws that was getting subdued in their love and selflessness, had to be addressed and what better reason than loss of Cheeku can make the conflict look real. Because, only loosing Cheeku could lead to both having equal stand in the conflict. If it was Gudiya, Aryan would have been at the receiving end while Imlie would be receiving all sympathy including Aryan's. Also, Gudiya was needed to be kept alive to show Aryan the mirror that you don't need a particular relation to feel for a helpless kid.

For Aryan to understand that it's not because Gudiya was AKT's child that Imlie was fighting Gudiya and for the insensitiveness he showed in the last track when Imlie voiced out how the word Najayaz triggered her past, he has to see it in front of his eyes what Meetti & Imlie had to suffer during her childhood and he will witness it through Imlie & Cheeni's story when he reaches PD post leap. He himself will jump into defending them and only after that he will come to know Cheeni is Gudiya, so that he will realise Imlie too was just doing the same thing when she was fighting to save Gudiya from Malini. Only then he will realise that he was wrong in bringing up AKT's name in today's fight. And once he realise, I want to see him whacking some sense into Imlie on how she is robbing Cheeni of her childhood by using her as an accomplice in her sting operations, as if she didn't get a grown up person from her village to do the same. Where has Madhav vanished?

Coming to Imlie, she always knew about Aryan's fear of loosing his dear ones and has been assuring him of not letting it get repeated. But has she ever tried to understand from where his fear is stemming up? I will say never. If she did, she would have been more careful w.r.to Cheeku. She has always seen a strong Aryan who goes weak at times and her thought process was, now that I am here I will not let it happen. So, for Imlie to understand from where Aryan's constant fear of losing her aroused & why he didn't want it to be repeated, she has to witness with her own eyes how pain & loneliness has crumbled an otherwise strong & shrewd Aryan into a laid-back person & being a pawn in Malini's hands. Only then she will realise why she shouldn't have left Aryan for the foolishness he said/did today. And I am hoping to see a more matured version of Imlie dealing with Malini in the upcoming track; not the same Imlie jumping onto another 'Save Aryan from Malini' mission.

@bold:- that point knocked sense into me😆. So, that's actually right. Aryan hasn't understood yet what makes Imlie look after gudiya and feel for her. And he took it all wrong, he thinks Imlie is attached to Gudiya bcz she is AKT'S child triggering insecurities that may have remained in some corner of his heart.

@italic:- i hardly expect that to happen😆, he is going to be total Imlie obsessed when he realises his mistake so even if Imlie is wrong at that point he is hardly going to open his mouth🤣

@ bold: I don't think.so. will he regret what he said and did ? Yes. But he won't be Imlie obessed . As far as I've understood aryan, he will go in self-hating, self-destructive spree. He won't try to win Imlie back rather whenever his feelings will pull him towards Imlie, he will do something hurtful.to.push her away . For him, he will become unworthy of anyone's love. This is the track we would have got had MV didn't quit. They are reopening the plots. This time Imlie will have to take initiative. Once she realises Aryan's regret, feelings . It will she who will hold reigns of their relationship .

You really think that after realising how he crossed the line by bringing Akt he will try to win her back. Never. As much as we hated him today, he will hate himself more. He will be ashamed that he did what her ex did. He demeaned her, tainted their love.

It will be Imlie who will hold reigns of their realtionship .

enlightened -- I am too lazy to write another post and so I will copy paste what I wrote earlier in another thread. it sounds like a bit of a rant but I am feeling rather zonked today. also to understand my view, I watch dramas for plot and character development. even when I am attached to characters, I expect logic and growth. so the post below is purely from a writing/character development perspective.

I have to wait to watch the episode but I am glad to read the update. yes glad. because they are finally back to showing aryan as a human being and not some romeo whose sole job is to support and give his juliet hugs. that is not the type of drama I have interest in watching. that is a 1.5-3 hour movie which ends. if we want a daily drama with character progression, then the character need to act like they are human. they need to have insecurities, anger, fear and express them. they need to have negatives reactions, flaws and times where they reject their loved ones. they have to hurt and break those around them -- that is real. that makes the drama more interesting.

at the orphanage, aryan said he can't order her to back away because it will make him look selfish. he wasn't on board with her plan but he didn't feel comfortable saying don't do this. even if he did, he knew that imlie would proceed ahead anyway. this was a marriage where imlie was steaming ahead of her own choices and his only option was to follow her. he couldn't voice out his frustrations good or bad, his fears good or bad or his concerns good or bad. that is a problem.

so I strongly agree with those already who have written that aryan is human -- obviously he will hurt and say the wrong things from time to time. it is not a destruction of his core -- it means he is changing just like all of us because that is part of being a human. we are not stagnant and we change and react based on circumstances.

have said this before in another post but right from the start, there was problems with optics when it comes to her obsession with gudiya. it was not relatable because the two sisters hate each other. so then any character is bound to think if this has got to do aditya. but this drama is weird that no one is allowed to confront imlie because they will end up apologizing. so even though you can tell others are uncomfortable such as narmada, no one opens their mouth and voices their feelings. instead, it takes a crisis for them to open up. that to me is rather dysfunctional. I was waiting for the ball to drop and I am glad to read it is happening.

if we are to see a mature story where the characters learn and grow, these conflicts need to occur. blind faith and support is bizarre -- that is just toxic and just leads to stunted characterization as well as relationships. so I think it is very healthy that they are finally willing to show that aryan is a normal human being who hurts and who can say mean stuff when in pain.

going forward, what I would like to see is accountablility of characters especially imlie. let her say sorry. let her get whacked. let her get questioned. let her change and grow. I would also like to see story arcs for all the side characters and have them shine as well.
